lildave3 Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Wow. Was convinced despite all the paper talk that he'd stay. Really hope if he does leave now that he stays in England.
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 October 2010 Author Posted 19 October 2010 He's been a bit of a flop at Real but anyone who saw him take Man United apart in the 2007 CL Semi-Final will know that he could molest the Premiership on form. That would be one hell of a deal and, as I've stated, probably suit all parties pretty well. Apart from Rooney who DOES NOT WANT TO PLAY ABROAD! Although Can't see Kaka staying at Real, Think Mourinho will want his German playing in Kaka's role even when Kaka is fit.
Dylan Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 He can't go till January anyway. Emergency loan till then anyone?
Alexikokopops Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 One thing that wouldn't shock me is a swap deal with another club. In order to assuage their fans annoyance, Man U may want to offset the departures of Ronaldo and Rooney in quick succession by bringing in a new player as part of a deal that sends Rooney the other way. Kaka hasn't had a great time at Real and it wouldn't be a massive surprise. Probably suit all parties actually. Surely if there was going to be a swap deal with Madrid then it would be with Benzema? Ferguson was trying to get him for a couple of seasons before he moved to Madrid and still loves him, he's not happy at Madrid, and Man Utd would be getting a striker in return for a striker. It's a win win. However, I'd imagine this is all a moot point, given that I can't ever imagine Rooney integrating abroad.
Sly Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Who knows what's really happening behind the scean between Wayne and Coleen. With all of his extra marital activities you can't blame the guy if he wants a fresh start somewhere else.
MC Prussian Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 In any case, I consider this to be a very bad timing on behalf of Rooney to make it public. Could potentially unsettle Manchester United ahead of tonight's Champions League game - and beyond that. Should've kept his trap shut and waited until January.

No, much better now so that he fooks up whats left of their season.

He'll go where the money is and having players around him who can speak English, as well as an English speaking manager may change his mind. He's also said that he wants to play at Man United till his career ends before, and look how that's turned out.
Libertine Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 THIS JOKE WASN'T FUNNY THE FIRST TIME. But Tilley, just imagine... Rooney down at the City. What a novel prospect.

Unless I'm mistaken, Rooney hasn't said a word.
