StanSP Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Chris Bevan (BBC journo) says that Rooney has agreed a 5-year deal according to MUTV
Tilley Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Manchester United have a mediocre start to the season and then manage to make Rooney make a massive u-turn in signing a new 5 year deal? Staged.
Mikey Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Didn't think he'd leave. Couldn't see him anywhere else.
Tommy G Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 What a Fix Still, they will be a 1 man band soon when Scholes/Giggs retire Ferdinand dies of an injury Vidic ****s off to madrid or somewhere. At least they have Bebe to fall back on
purpleronnie Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Yep just holding out for more dosh, amazing. No doubt he'll say the club reassured him about future signings....bollocks!
StanSP Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Rooney: The club lacks ambition United: Here, have some £££££££££££££££££ Rooney: Thanks :D :D
FoxyPV Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Ferguson's negoitation techniques 1st then if negoitations fail then
Ford Super Sunday Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Man United fans in a nutshell Monday: This is all bollocks, he'll never leave the club, the media are cloonts Tuesday: WHAT? HE WANTS TO LEAVE, he nearly made Fergie cry in the press conference, what a scouse bastard Wednesday: Oh what a disloyal little cvnt, that scouse bastard better watch out now, fookin fat shit. Thursday: He's shit anyway, wherever he goes we'll still win the title with Fletcher and Evans, we don't need Rooney. Friday: He;'s such a greedy little... WHAT'S THAT, NEW CONTRACT? YEEEEEEEEAAAAAA, the white Pele is here to stay!
Fox You Forest Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 David Gill lumped on Rooney staying so they've got enough to buy some quality in January.

Tbf on their big forum, RedCafe, half are saying there happy, and the other half are saying he's not worthy of the club atm and will have to win back the fans by performing, which of course is true.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 At least he has come to see sense. Wether its for money or footballing reasons. Im glad to see him stay at Man U. Would be such a shame to see such talent go to waste. United is the perfect club for Rooney IMO.

I know, expected response, I just wanted to do a little bit of satire on the fickle ones who will be a bit like that
BoneDog Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 So I had to put up with constant stories about Rooney on SSN and every other channel I switched to for 3 days all for nothing. Ooooh they love the drama
Ford Super Sunday Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 So I had to put up with constant stories about Rooney on SSN and every other channel I switched to for 3 days all for nothing. Ooooh they love the drama Indeed, I'd hope the press and SSN would take some lessons from this, unfortunately I expect the next time a big player wants to leave they'll hurl themselves into a frenzy like they have done before. Nothing was ever set in stone. The prospect of two continual months of speculation on where he would be going was not something which anyone would have been looking forward to to be frank, so the press and especially SSN come out with this with plenty of egg on their face, for burying their faces so deep in the trough even before anything had happened.
HonradaRaposa Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Just sit back and wait for Patrice Evra to snap him in 2 at the next training session.
Corky Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 I think he'll have to do a lot to win over the fans again. May well be a bit frosty over the next few weeks.
Alexikokopops Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 What a Fix Still, they will be a 1 man band soon when Scholes/Giggs retire Ferdinand dies of an injury Vidic ****s off to madrid or somewhere. At least they have Bebe to fall back on We're on a remarkably similar wavelength! They don't seem to be many Man Utd fans actually thinking "hang on, maybe Rooney's got a point". Two of their key players this season are Scholes and Giggs, who I doubt will be around next season, Tevez and Ronaldo both moved on (with Rooney looking like it in the near future), Vidic has been linked with leaving a fair bit recently, Ferdinand's falling apart, Ferguson surely hasn't got that many more years in him, the club is massively in debt, and their signings this season were Smalling, Bebe and Hernandez (which, compared to previous signings, isn't that overwhelming). In my opinion, the signs aren't that brilliant.
