Wymsey Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Coincidently, i saw a japanese lad drinking from a can exactly like the one on the left in my HRM lecture today
Finnegan Posted 28 October 2010 Author Posted 28 October 2010 On that note, another favourite of mine from Hong Kong:
StanSP Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Do we have Maxibon's here in UK? My brother is obsessed with them whenever we go abroad!
Webbo Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Do we have Maxibon's here in UK? My brother is obsessed with them whenever we go abroad! They sometimes sell them in ASDA.
StanSP Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 They sometimes sell them in ASDA. Ah right. I rarely shop at ASDA, mainly because wherever I've lived there isn't an ASDA nearby. I don't think I'm missing out on much to be honest!

Father Ted Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Currywurst :: Brings back good memories of GCSE German, my breakfast, lunch and dinner would always be 'Currywurst und Cola'!
MC Prussian Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 I'm surprised no one has yet come up with some decent beach scenery: Wouldn't mind one night in Brighton with this kind of view instead of one night in Bangkok.

Honestly, I'd rather some of these coastal views: Not much bores me more than beaches.
Libertine Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Do we have Maxibon's here in UK? My brother is obsessed with them whenever we go abroad! Oh lord. A taste of heaven. Not enough shops sell them.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Never experienced one of these myself but something along these lines vending machine
Bellend Sebastian Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 and the best of it is , they can't touch you for it RIP Emperor of Exmoor It's come to my attention this morning that many people are questioning the demise of the Emperor of Exmoor, and I have to face up to the fact that I may have been mistaken and have actually slain a very fat person in an elaborate hat. It could happen to anyone
Zingari Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 It's come to my attention this morning that many people are questioning the demise of the Emperor of Exmoor, and I have to face up to the fact that I may have been mistaken and have actually slain a very fat person in an elaborate hat. It could happen to anyone i just knew a brilliant reply was going to come A few posters have been saying recently that FT is not so good as it used to be , and is all but dead , I have to disagree. There are still posters such as yourself regularly dropping brilliant gems such as this into nearly every thread , (and in such a gloriously understated manner) that makes it worthwhile to seek them out FT still has a good few more years left in it yet .

Well that's very kind, I'm humbled, I really am. There's obviously some cross over in our respective senses of humour, and that's nice because it means I'm not posting exclusively for my own amusement (and trust me, I would do that). I'm mindful though that 95% of posters probably think I'm a complete div and wonder why I'm even here, but hey ho. Online communities like this one change over time as people come and go those that remain will either celebrate or lament those that depart and either welcome or reject those that arrive, so I think it's very hard to say if something's not as good as it used to be as it's down to the individual. There's one poster that doesn't come on here much now that is missed by quite a few and I agree that it's a poorer place without them, but there are others that are completely indifferent to their absence. In summary: It's the circle of life, it's the wheel of fortune. I think Greek meatballs should be more readily available in the UK, and with that I've expertly and subtly brought us back on topic

I think Greek meatballs should be more readily available in the UK, and with that I've expertly and subtly brought us back on topic I like the thought that you would continue to post regardless of any need for any sycophantic approbation , Somehow I already knew that I'm not sure , but think I know to which poster (or posters) you are referring , who are indeed a big loss to the forum . But although I found some of them very amusing on one level , they could be equally as irritating on another , and felt there was a constant "look at me, look at me ,look at me " tone to their posts , and there also seemed to be a pack mentality that often singled out other posters for often cruel ridicule , ( this may of course be totally unjustified ) which often drove other posters away , and I thought I saw this trend had re-surfaced a little the other day . All the best Geisha girl schools , that's we we need !!!! get it sorted Cameron !! ( see i learned a trick there )
Lillehamring Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 I only know one guy from Norway (after from FT) he's a total bellend. I know quite a few Swedes and they're all quality. ha, some of my best friends are swedes.
Lillehamring Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 Honestly, I'd rather some of these coastal views: Not much bores me more than beaches. may i suggest a holiday here nextsummer
Finnegan Posted 29 October 2010 Author Posted 29 October 2010 I would love to go to Norway, Iceland and the Faroes. Alas, money.
