We've got a few of the teams in and around us in our next few games as well so this is a real chance to kick on now. Aside from getting the 3 points, I'm delighted we've finally got ourselves a clean sheet.
Dylan Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Brilliant result- yet I think we still need more conviction in taking our chances, to secure the win. But we've still got all 3 points which is the main thing. Looking at our next 3 games: Barnsley (A)- Near us in the table- very winnable imo. Sheff Utd (H)- Like us this season, underachieving. At home, I'd expect us to be able to win any league game so winnable. Derby (H)- Local derby. Will be tough, specially with their shocking form this season. I think we can take all 9 point from these if we play to our potential, TAKING OUR CHANCES. Just done that predictor thing for the next 3 games, and if we win them I reckon we'll only be around 3 points off the playoffs, at worst. We're only 7 points off the play offs at the moment, and a good run of form can bring us realistically back in contention for them. Unfortunately, I think automatic promotion is out of reach unless we go on an amazing run from now, as Cardiff looks VERY strong, and QPR look great too.

As said already, D N'G was shocking, Abe and Vitor were a revelation. I just hope this now spurs us on... UP THE FOXES! My thoughts on today's game
