Bert Posted 23 December 2010 Posted 23 December 2010 In his words "AT THE MINUTE, coming to Leicester on loan for the season is the most likely option"
Narborough_fox Posted 23 December 2010 Posted 23 December 2010 In his words "AT THE MINUTE, coming to Leicester on loan for the season is the most likely option" Ah cheers for that Bert, hope it all comes together.
ajthefox Posted 23 December 2010 Posted 23 December 2010 In his words "AT THE MINUTE, coming to Leicester on loan for the season is the most likely option" Glad to see he is at least willing to stay but bearing in mind his price tag I'd be amazed if that happened. He's not been perfect but 2.5 million for someone who is good enough for the prem is a very good deal, and I think if the owners are serious, spending 2.5 million on Davies is something they are obligated to do, or at least try. Not going for him would be missing out, I genuinely don't see how we could get anyone better for less money. If someone else does please enlighten me..
STUHILL Posted 23 December 2010 Posted 23 December 2010 In his words "AT THE MINUTE, coming to Leicester on loan for the season is the most likely option" That was the best we could hope for really. I think then he will sign for us if we get promoted or use this time to put himself in shop window for another Prem club. No doubt his agent will be working hard in the Summer. Happy with this though

Hmm hope not athough Hobbs and Vitor should be good enough if both stay fit.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Aren't the mirror usually spot-on?? Hmm hope not athough Hobbs and Vitor should be good enough if both stay fit. Tbh I'd love him to stay, but hes not THAT good.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Tbh I'd love him to stay, but hes not THAT good. "Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies, who is currently on loan at Leicester, has snubbed Sven-Goran Eriksson's attempts to sign him permanently and will go back to Villa Park on 4 January when his loan deal expires." Thats from BBC Transfer Gossip. CLICK Fook off Davies
Jimmy Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 good player, too good for this level but we can sign someone else easily enough, what's Matt Killgallon up to now days? and he's a left sides cb...
ibbosuk Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Tbh I'd love him to stay, but hes not THAT good. Most of the goals we have been conceding have come from centre forward area, plus 3 away defeats on the bounce, he's hardly been keeping the back door shut, let him go we can find someone who can be more affective than Curtis Davis.
dpjfox Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 im sure sven has other options i can see davies going somewhere like stoke , we need a dominant no nonsense centre back (similar to wayne brown but 100 times better and not a racist)
muzzy1981 Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Bit gutted about this but kind of don't blame him as prem football could be guranteed with other clubs. If were sitting outside the play-offs then he might have stayed. Could be a blessing though as O'Neil (The messier) wasn't a fan of his attitude and has got a reputation for throwing his toys out of the pram at villa. We don't want any bad eggs in the squad. I'm sure Sven has something up his sleeve!
CupidStunt Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Always the fooking same, we pull a player out from nowhere who aint getting a game, give them a chance, they play well-ish, get themselves in the shop window, and then the ungrateful ****ers want to go somewhere else. @Muzzy1981, prem football guaranteed somewhere else? where? he aint that good.

mountsorrel fox Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Hopefully we can focus on trying to sign Naughton in january now! Harry please let him go!!
CupidStunt Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 he'd get into a few of the sides in that league if that's the case, why his in playing in the championship with lowly Leicester?, he wouldn't walk straight into a first eleven in that many sides if any at all I would say he is too good for the championship, but he aint a world beater. It just pi$$es me off when we cant hold onto anyone good when its us that give them the break they are after, i know thats the way it works most of the time, but lets see If he does go back to Villa, i hope he dont get any offers and rots back in the reserves

The article says, Wolves and Stoke are interested. Would have thought he would he could eventually break into their side Whether you like him or not he has always been highly rated CB who has come into form and as you say we have been the shop window. I had an debate with someone on hear before about Davies and made the point that he has 2 years left on his contract at Villa, if a prem club comes in and offers him another prem league wage for four years then based on £20 k per week that around a cool £2m, what would you do?

Nice one

He made it clear from the very beginning that come January he wanted a move to a Premiership team. Cant understand why anyone is so surprised?
Daggers Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 In his words "AT THE MINUTE, coming to Leicester on loan for the season is the most likely option" Amazingly - they aren't anything like the words he is using to people in Brum.
Bert Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Amazingly - they aren't anything like the words he is using to people in Brum. Amazingly, I couldn't care less what you have to say.
Daggers Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Amazingly, I couldn't care less what you have to say. And I give a shit about that because?
Bert Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 And I give a shit about that because? Didn't say anything about you giving a shit did i? You have some silly little vendetta against me, and always seem to attack me when I post stuff about players. I don't attack your "info". Maybe it's time to get your head out of your own arse, and stop being so ignorant and arrogant. I'll not hold my breath mind. Merry fucking Christmas.
Cat Burger Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Merry fucking Christmas... ..ya filthy animal, and a happy new year.
