Leicester_Loyal Posted 29 December 2010 Posted 29 December 2010 German side Werder Bremen are interested in Aston Villa's 25-year-old defender Curtis Davies, who is currently on loan with Leicester City.Source: BBC Transfer Gossip. Nothing new.
Bert Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 In his words "AT THE MINUTE, coming to Leicester on loan for the season is the most likely option" Amazingly - they aren't anything like the words he is using to people in Brum. Well I never.
Kierzz Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 On his twitter it says he is going to join sven's revloution and on stringer's it says it will be completed in 24hrs

Lester LXXIV Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 After reading peoples comments about his form and attitude, I'm gutted he's coming back!
hotdogfox Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 why would you be gutted hes coming back? silly, footballs a business now!!
Tommy G Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 People will be moaning about this. Unbelieveable really. Moaning cvnts pop up at every opportunity. Why can't people just enjoy we have the best team on paper in this division now I reckon. If we signed messi people would still moan. Sven can't win. If you know anything about football you will realise a. That it is a business and b. Davies is a prem quality player. Be greatful ffs to the owners
Stevosevic Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 Another quality player, don't see how people can moan. Some people on this forum would be jizzing if we signed a 16 year old from Barnet or an unknown foreign player from the lower divisions of Portugal. Proven quality Championship player and a comfortable premiership player, some people need to open their eyes.

People have the hump with Davies for one reason only, lack of commitment! After a great start where he was pretty damn good he started playing for himself rather than the team and we started shipping goals. Anyone could see that... At the begining of the month he couldn't get away from us fast enough, but now he looks like he is coming back, how does that work? If he can put all that behind him and play with proper commitment then I welcome him back, if not, we are better off without him....
Fox1651 Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 Agreed Marbelladave however in Sven :sge: we must trust
Tommy G Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 Dave, who doesn't look after number one? If you are looking for a promotion at work or want to work in a higher position do you not go for it? Same position he was in. Were lucky to have such quality You'd rather have Morrison because he put more effort in? Even though he Is shite (pompey away springs to mind)

Same position he was in. Were lucky to have such quality You'd rather have Morrison because he put more effort in? Even though he Is shite (pompey away springs to mind) You're missing the point Dave made - that Davies' form dipped considerably after he'd impressed initially. If he comes back with renewed commitment to us and focusses properly on his game, then fine.
Unit Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 IanStringerBBC Ian Stringer Curtis Davies to #lcfc doesn't look good folks and I'll have some news on a player leaving on loan in a while. Will keep you updated

If he comes back with renewed commitment to us and focusses properly on his game, then fine. Exactly, if you are offered a position that you accept on agreed terms, then as a professional, you should give it your best shot.... If you are in a profession where effort and commitment are important, a footballer for example, then this is the least your employer should expect. Looking at todays events it would appear that commitment is not a word familier to Davies... Still no deal done as yet, we shall see...
muzzy1981 Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Davies steadied the ship after the Sousa start. He is a class act I am thrilled he might be coming back. His form only dipped because he wasn't sure what was going to happen in Jan. I'm sure he's looking forward to helping the promotion push. In Sven we trust!!
nickelbyfox Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Davies agent's a cock. Why wants too high wages or signing on fee or summin? I's the deal not happening?
