Matt Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 We've just got to put this behind us now. IfHoward's penalty or Davies' header had gone in then it would have been a whole different story. The next match is Forest, lets look forward to that, get behind the lads and beat Forest and then we can look to the playoffs! Come on ffs, it was always going to be a tough away match. If me Auntie had balls she'd be my Uncle.
harpendenfox Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Elated last week, frustrated as hell this week. That'll be a Leicester supporter's lot then.............
sdb Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 can we please have 1 week where people don't spend all Sat morning going '5-0 city', 'we should walk this', 'we're on form, they're shit, easy 3 points' etc etc, and then resort to suicidal negativity as soon as we miss a chance/concede a goal. it's embarrassing. if i were a rival supporter i'd piss myself laughing at some of what gets posted here.
Heskey2011 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Elated last week, frustrated as hell this week. That'll be a Leicester supporter's lot then............. exactly, i don't know why we get so surprised
martyn Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Christ, some of you lot are unbelievable. We're going to have some slip ups along the way, you can't undo all of the horrors Sousa bestowed upon us immediately. Who would have thought we'd be 4 points off the playoffs (before today) following the start we had. Also, Sven doesn't make excuses, he generally calls it correctly.
davieG Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 52% possession 6 shots on target to 3 7 off target to 4 10 corners to 3 But all that counts is goals

Whilst I'm not defending today's result, it sounded very frustrating in front of goal yet again, the overreaction is absurd.
flanimal Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 52% possession 6 shots on target to 3 7 off target to 4 10 corners to 3 But all that counts is goals And, 32.5 Alanyoungs in second half.
Corky Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Bloody frustrating, feels like all that good work we did last week has been undone.
colbo68 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 I think its time we spent the cash on some new strikers, granted Weale has dropped a clanger from what is said on the radio, but we really should have been 4 or 5 up. They seem also to be very poor at set pieces, I think its get as many points as we can till January and get shot of the impotent strikers and players who wont improve us and add the quality. A lot of work still for Sven to do, and each time we win just covers the cracks of how bad some of our players are, now we are brought back down to earth. I agree, dont forget that a goalkeepers confidence is improved if we have scored down the other end..if we fail to score it puts pressure on our defence not to concede - I say again, we would have simply won that game if we would have taken our chances, and Weale probably wouldnt have done what he did
Matt Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 52% possession 6 shots on target to 3 7 off target to 4 10 corners to 3 But all that counts is goals Don't even talk about fucking corners! I think the opposition has more chance of scoring from one of our corners rather than us scoring from one of our corners!
colbo68 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Bristol City 2 - 0 Leicester City *sigh* well done Stringer today for asking Sven some direct questions...but surprise surprise he gave absolutely no answers to anything... he should be a politician rather than a football manager... is it really worth interviewing him because the Swede says NOTHING...how the hell he can motivate players God only knows....
Matt Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 well done Stringer today for asking Sven some direct questions...but surprise surprise he gave absolutely no answers to anything... he should be a politician rather than a football manager... is it really worth interviewing him because the Swede says NOTHING...how the hell he can motivate players God only knows.... Really? Yeah shit manager, Done fuck all in his career, Get rid.
Kitchandro Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Anyone still listening to Radio Leicester? 'Alan Young made a point about Bristol City being awful. But, they beat us'. What great insight. I can tell he was just desperate to get that off his chest.
Corky Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 well done Stringer today for asking Sven some direct questions...but surprise surprise he gave absolutely no answers to anything... he should be a politician rather than a football manager... is it really worth interviewing him because the Swede says NOTHING...how the hell he can motivate players God only knows.... Get a grip. We're in a far better position now than we were six weeks ago. We've lost today, which is disappointing, but we are, on the whole, moving in the right direction. He obviously is motivating the players, we're dominating most games at the moment.

If I wasn't typing serenely because I'm on an expensive laptop, I'd be mashing my fists on the keyboard. Utter tripe.

What the fook did you want him to say? Serious question.

Excuse No 1 - blame Sousa! l sure didn't anticipate that one. Whatever next: Sousa's Penalty Miss Costs City Dearly Weale "Heard Voice of Sousa" Before Clearance Cock-up Strikers Poor Form Blamed On Sousa Training Hangover
colbo68 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 You can be sure of that. Well, I heard the excuses about Swansea being fitter and better than us. I wonder what the excuses will be this time. Nice to see young Ash Chambers scored for York today... could he do any worse for City than Fryatt at the moment?
Kitchandro Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 I'm sure now we've lost we'll be the featured game on the Football League Show
unreachable Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 When are we going to give Schlupp a chance? He knocks in the goals albeit at a different level - he should be high in confidence if he gets a chance.
Matt Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Nice to see young Ash Chambers scored for York today... could he do any worse for City than Fryatt at the moment? I've not been Fryatt's biggest fan so far this season, having said that he's not played much going on from that how on earth can you ask that question of Fryatt?
colbo68 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 What the fook did you want him to say? Serious question. let me think.... a clear, articulate analysis of why we lost that game...some honesty about our off-form strikers and what he intends to do about it.... I say again, there was literally NO POINT to that interview...it could have been done by anybody....
Kitchandro Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Nice to see young Ash Chambers scored for York today... could he do any worse for City than Fryatt at the moment? Fryatt had 10 minutes today you dick But you're right, it's all his fault
colbo68 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 I've not been Fryatt's biggest fan so far this season, having said that he's not played much going on from that how on earth can you ask that question of Fryatt? the point I was making was about Chambers? not Fryatt? what are you talking about...
