BoneDog Posted 8 January 2011 Posted 8 January 2011 I hope the Stevenage Newcastle match wasn't on live, would be gutted to have missed that. Haven't been able to check 'cos the Mrs has been watching Star Wars and Primeval. Glorious win for Burton today, I was glued to flashscores in the last ten minutes and went mental in injury time when they got the second. Shaun Harrad is banging the goals in. Watched most of the Arsenal Leeds match and you just knew that a late equaliser was coming. Snodgrasses free-kick was so close to winning it though.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 8 January 2011 Posted 8 January 2011 According to 606 on the radio, one of the fans who went on the pitch at the end punched a Stevenage player in the face knocking him to the floor. Not sure whether it was a Stevenage ore Toon fan though.

Anyway, what a shite day for the North-East; Sunderland, Newcastle and Middlesbrough all out

MikeyT Posted 8 January 2011 Posted 8 January 2011 QPR manager Neil Warnock has launched an astonishing attack on Blackburn Rovers winger El-Hadji Diouf following their FA Cup defeat. The Championship side suffered a 1-0 loss to Rovers in the FA Cup on Saturday, but it was Diouf's reaction to Jamie Mackie's serious injury that annoyed Warnock. The Senegalese forward issued a verbal volley at Mackie who was stretchered off and taken to hospital where it was confirmed he suffered a double leg break. Warnock believes the loss of Mackie, who he expects to be without for the remainder of the season, is a massive blow to their promotion hopes. However, it was Diouf's reaction that upset him and his players and he does not believe Rovers boss Steve Kean will allow him to play for the club for much longer. Double break "He's broken both of his bones in his leg, his tib and his fib," Warnock said on Mackie's injury. "It's disappointing for everyone. It pales into insignificance, the result really. "I'm pulling my hair out as well because I wasn't going to play him. He pleaded with me to play him yesterday. "That's how he is, he wants to play in everything. We'll miss him. It's a massive blow to us. "I can't see him really playing again this season. The lads have said 'we've really got to try and get promotion for him now'. Disappointed "He's a fantastic lad, so that's why I was disappointed when El-Hadji Diouf starts, the lads were furious at him. "He'd broken his leg. There was no need for it. I think the Blackburn people were embarrassed. "I can't buy people like that. I don't know why he wants to take on the world every week. "There was no need for him to put the finger up and talk to Mackie like he did. He was calling him a disgrace and all sorts of things. "I think for many years I think he's been the 'gutter' type of boy. I was going to call him a sewer rat, but that might insult the sewer rats. I think he's the lowest of the low. "I can't see him being at Blackburn much longer because I can't see Steve Kean putting up with someone like that in the dressing room when he's creating a new image. "I think he'll be the first to go. Good riddens. I hope he goes abroad. I won't miss watching him. Sign him? I wouldn't want to talk to him."
lildave3 Posted 8 January 2011 Posted 8 January 2011 Only just seen the Burton Albion score, and especially the times of the goals. Must have been mayhem.
MikeyT Posted 8 January 2011 Posted 8 January 2011 Stevenage player gets punched by Newcastle fan? http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/01/08/newcastle-united-supporter-punches-stevenage-player-in-the-face-video/

From when the scroat spat in that Portsmouth players face a few years ago. Absolute c-nt, should really put him in my deathwish 2011.
ScouseFox Posted 8 January 2011 Posted 8 January 2011 Don't understand why Holloway said his side had no chance of winning the competition, effectively saying it was pointless his team playing. It's the luck of the draw about how far you get, to concede defeat before your first match is a bit stupid, really.
Simmo86 Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Bit rich from Colin after he did this My link You'd think they would of shown Diouf doing this on tv if it actually happened.
Guest Bilo Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 El-Hadji Diouf's a cunt, Warnock's a cunt. Not overly worried if either of them crashed and burned really, though Diouf edges it for sheer prickness after that. If any of the Hull players had done that to Cunningham most of us on here, myself included, would have gone nuts.
acooling08 Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Hopefully Mackie does a Roy Keane - Comes back and ends Dioufs career with a leg breaker. Then spit on his face as he goes down.
Jimothy Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Spurs have only named 6 subs against Charlton. Surely their squad isn't that thin.
Jimothy Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Berbatov's gone down there about 5 minutes after Agger touches him. Terrible dive.
