Bert Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 We've Just got here. Hardly any Now or ice in surrounding areas. Can't see what the problem was there.
Jordan Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 We've Just got here. Hardly any Now or ice in surrounding areas. Can't see what the problem was there. Frozen pitch worries, perhaps? Portman Road doesn't have undersoil heating, although they use other techniques to fight frost. Moot point, though. C'mon, Leicester.
Simmo86 Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 SkySports_Simon #ITFC Pitch at Portman Road looks frozen solid. Going to be a big ask for the ground staff to get this game on. 4 minutes ago via TweetDeck Simon Thomas on my Twitter.

Drift Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 SkySports_Simon Simon Thomas by grantusher Just spoken to the referee Stuart Attwell and at the moment he's happy with the pitch so it's game on for #ITFC v #LCFC
walkerlcfc91 Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Great news! Just hope the snow doesn't fall heavily!

Haydos Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 How the he'll can a game go ahead with a frozen pitch?! Clearly it's not completely frozen and that's what the fuss was about <_<
Stevosevic Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Kirkland and Dyer are in for Weale and Bednar. No Waghorn on bench, injured?
Wycombe Fox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Kirkland Naughton Davies Vitor Cunningham Abe King Wellens Gallagher Vassell Dyer Subs: Weale, Howard, Oakley, Moussa, Hobbs, Fryatt, Morrison
Haydos Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 No Waghorn on bench, injured? Yeah, Waggy's had flu or a virus or something this week apparently.
Thracian Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Kirkland and Dyer are in for Weale and Bednar. No Waghorn on bench, injured? No, he's only got one foot and the insurers thought it too dangerous to risk him on the hard surface! :
Wycombe Fox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 No, he's only got one foot and the insurers thought it too dangerous to risk him on the hard surface! : Harsh!
Simmo86 Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Kirkland Naughton Davies Vitor Cunningham Abe King Wellens Gallagher Vassell Dyer Subs: Weale, Howard, Oakley, Moussa, Hobbs, Fryatt, Morrison Think thats our strongest starting 11! C'mon City!
Jimothy Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Is it safe letting Kirkland dive around on such a hard surface?
ousefox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 That certainly looks like a quality team. Lets just hope we pick up where we left off last week. Glad Vassel is getting another go upfront, wins a lot more headers than you would think and i can definitely see him getting on the scoresheet today
Wycombe Fox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Derek Fazackerley sounds a bit like Sam Allardyce.
ScouseFox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Finally we see Dyer start. Hope for a result from this, confident with that line up, just depends if we can finish the game
Wycombe Fox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Score from a corner, we're gonna score from a corner, score from a cooooorner, we're gonna score from a cooooorner
AlphaMaleFox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Score from a corner, we're gonna score from a corner, score from a cooooorner, we're gonna score from a cooooorner Quality!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Good team selection, pleased to see Vassell is still in the central role. Wonder what odds you could get on Kirkland going off injured...
harpendenfox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 The way results and postponements have gone today if we win I think we will be seventh this evening. If we win, I hasten to add. I don't want to jinx anything
