Millwall - Post Match Thread

We were spoilt a little last season. This year not so much. Can't help but start thinking about next season, we're just way too inconsistent.

14 shots 6 on target 8 off target

mill wall 4 shots 2 on target 2 off target 2 goals

So Kirkland didn't make a single save. What is the point of him?

On paper we are quality, in reality, we are very poor!

We have no fight!!

We have to stick with Sven though long-term.

QPR have got the right balance of skilful players with fighters. We need that to succeed in this league.

Mid-table this year looking more and more likely. Just can't see us amounting a CONSISTENT run.

Apart from the match against Donny, in which we got lucky, we haven't played well since Derby at home. Need to sort out our away form and how we start games, going 2 down after about 20 minutes in the last 3 away games gives us too much to do.

We're shit and will carry on being shit until the squad settles down and Sven's finished fooking about in the transfer market.

It's quickly becoming all about next season. Hope the owners have got the patience.

We're a mid-table team, good enough at home yet shocking away. No consistency which will mean we should be okay to survive but not for the top six.

Nine defeats in 12 on the road- appalling. All we're doing is putting extra pressure on the home games.

On the bright side at least we got a try before you buy with Bednar. I would've bitten your hand off before his loan spell if I was told we could sign him permanently, now I'm not so sure.

sounded like Roman wasted his and everybody elses time by turning up today

yup. No wonder Di Matteo doesn't want the lazy beanpole.

Yet another pathetic away loss.

We need a striker who if he gets 2 or 3 chances, will score 1 of them, because at the minute we have players that it takes 6 or 7 chances to score. This has been proven time and time again by our stats - we have one of the highest shots/shots on target in the league, but one of the lowest goals scored tallys in the division. Doesnt make sense.

We also need a centre half who wants to be here. I know Davies didn't play today but his 'quality' doesn't make up for his bad attitude. Vitor is too injury prone, Morrison is not good enough, Tunchev will not come back. Get someone in in the January window, a good solid Championship centre half for a mill or two.

They don't care. No matter what players we'll get in January, we won't make it past a mid-table position.

Terrible. Absolutely pathetic game today. Might as well field a youth team for away games, they'd get a better result out of it. And would certainly show more commitment.

I have no clue what Sven is telling them before away games, but either it's not working or he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Oh, and Chris Kirkland is shit. Ship him back to Wigan. Get rid of Morrison and let Hobbs play for the reseves for a while.

Have to agree!! Same with Curtis Davies now for me. Would have been a waste of money on his current form

Naughton is only one I would take so far. Cunningham is dropping in my estimations too
