themotivator Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Oh dear, guy on RL having a go at Sven for letting DJ and Gradel go good job he called in
Finnegan Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 We can basically win about eight consecutive games over the winter calendar.
STUHILL Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Why the fook do i listen to RL post match!! Blaming Sven for Gradel and DJ going!! That Steve is a a nonce
Bert Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 That was pathetic. Bullied out of the game from the start. Sven doesn't know his best team or formation. No-one looked bothered apart from Naughton or Oakley who was our best player. Badnar was laughable. Cunningham had a shocker. Howard and Dyer missed two great chances. You have to score them. The ref was a bit of a toss-sack too. To the fans calling for Weale, why even bother turning up? What's that going to do? It's a complete embarrassment and an insult to kirkland. He could do nothing about either goal, which were both defensive mix ups. Something needs to change against Hull, starting with 4-4-2 and Waghorn.
Fox92 Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Wasted substitution on a goalkeeper thats injury prone (Don't agree with the 'Weale Weale' chants though). Players like Dyer, Gallagher and Oakley arn't good enough. We can't score and we're selling Matty Fryatt. We don't seem to be strong enough. Individual mistakes. We're just not good enough. Sven doesn't seem to change formation, which isn't working for us either. Think we need more than 12m in Jan.
Narborough Bod Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 the funniest thing is that had we scraped an undeserved win over leeds and won an away game for once...(today) we'd be joint 6th!! what a crap division Richard Dunne please...no pace but a leader and a quick brain and he scores from corners ...this is unsubstantiated and purely based on him not being picked today.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Next guy has said "he's got to get some complacency in the team"
Corky Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 We can basically win about eight consecutive games over the winter calendar. That was two years ago
somebum Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 "I have no clue what Sven is telling them before away games, but either it's not working or he doesn't know what he's talking about." Probably the same kind of sh!te he came up with to Matty Fryatt: "If he wants to go, then he can go. But if he wants to stay, then thats ok as well" Clearly, a very decisive manager. He's a numpty.
Karljohn Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Have to agree!! Same with Curtis Davies now for me. Would have been a waste of money on his current form Naughton is only one I would take so far. Cunningham is dropping in my estimations too Agreed, Naughton and him only. Davies has never been that clever, Fryatt ripped him apart a couple of seasons back in the cup, casual big time charlie who goes on a run and then gives it away cheap. Whilst Cunningham has yet to plumb the depths of McGivern, Bruno Berner is surely better utilized that sat scratching his balls on the bench. Bednar is an absolute tool. Kirkland's career is in freefall, just hope we don't provide the landing net.
cc_star Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Corners Finishing defending (that's the to do list this week) Every fooking week!
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Roman Bednar was shocking today, and our centre half pairing must have been a dream to play against. Just not anywhere near good enough.

Yes, Richard Dunne, said this the other day, its experience at CB required, ugly no nonsense stuff.
themotivator Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 i couldnt give a shit about matt oakleys 500th league appearance sorry
STUHILL Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Think Alan Young is spot on! Our team is reflecting our manager at the moment. No real fight. We have lost that bulldog attitude we had under Pearson where we were ruthless and fought for everything! We need a combination of playing our good football with that fight! QPR have that now and are flying at the top. Just hope Sven knows this and can get the right players in to achieve this balance. At the moment we are lacking fight!!!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 We're shit and will carry on being shit until the squad settles down and Sven's finished fooking about in the transfer market. It's quickly becoming all about next season. Hope the owners have got the patience. Best post of the night mate. Let Sven get his own team sorted first, and I wouldn't rule out playoffs. With the money available, and we're due a run of course, we can reach the playoffs. Still just under half the season still to play and anybody is beating anybody at the moment.

He seems to below quite a few orders from the touchline.
themotivator Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 would like to see sven getting fired up and losing his cool a la wenger once in a while
Thracian Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Oh dear, guy on RL having a go at Sven for letting DJ and Gradel go Haha ... it must be holiday season! I bet he's out there with a bucket and spade. Anyway - relax. Leave it to our esteemed professionals Finns has such faith in. Pro's who'd still leave Gradel out in preference to Dyer in his view! Let's see now, what do the facts say in relation to our wingers: Dyer (2 goals) and Vassell (1 goal) making three goals between them. Plus an assist each. Total input 5. Gradel 8 goals and 2 assists on his own. total input 10. Very convincing!

I think you missed the gist of his post mate?
cc_star Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Millwall had both their first choice centre-halfs out injured today We're a joke Hobbs has been messed around, dropped every time Vitor is fit... does Vitor keep clean sheets? No Weale has been messed around, Kirkland is useless Waghorn has been messed around, how many goals have Bednar & Vassel scored? Mussa has played amazing, but yet again is messed around, why not slot him a in a 5 man midfield & only play one up front (away from home) Our defence is constantly under attack becayuse our midfield rarely breaks opposing attacks up, leading us to ship as many goals away from home already as we did in the whole of last season. There is a lot wrong, and people seem to think a home win or two will see us approach the play-offs. Teams like Wolves, Wigan & Fulham etc will be sniffing around Hobbs, King & Co in Jan and I have to wonder if we'll hold on to them or just replace them with loan signings either premier league journeyman or u-21 internationals who'll never sign for us
Fox92 Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Don't know about this Davies thing. Think he's been good for us. Just tink he isn't comfortable when the ball comes to his feet - like most defenders. He's not exactly Lucio. Although Naughton is the one I'd like to sign the most, theres no doubt I'd have Curtis Davies.
Fox92 Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Hobbs has been messed around, dropped every time Vitor is fit... does Vitor keep clean sheets? No I always think we look more composed with Vitor in. Plus, clean sheets at Barnsley etc
cc_star Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Why do people think Sven will sort it out in the transfer market? Sure Naughton is good, but that was probably Harry offering him out to experienced 2nd tier managers more than anything Sven actually did, but Bednar, Vassel, Kirkland, certainly aren't good, and Davies has been injured twice already and he's done little to stop the tide of goals we're conceding anyway, Cunningham is OK, but he doesn't offer the freekick, corner or heading threat that Berner does, or for that matter a 25 yard potshot to force a save out of the keeper and maybe a goalmouth scramble. Sven's transfer record with us is certainly more miss than hit, and he has zero chance of attracting the players who are making the headlines like Beckham, Henry & other football OAPs who would only be here for 2 months money, how motivated are they gonna be on a freezing cold Tuesday night at some crappy championship ground when we're in the bottom 3 (once everyone else has played their 2 to 3 games in hand)
deep blue Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Yet another pathetic away loss. We need a striker who if he gets 2 or 3 chances, will score 1 of them, because at the minute we have players that it takes 6 or 7 chances to score. This has been proven time and time again by our stats - we have one of the highest shots/shots on target in the league, but one of the lowest goals scored tallys in the division. Doesnt make sense. We also need a centre half who wants to be here. I know Davies didn't play today but his 'quality' doesn't make up for his bad attitude. Vitor is too injury prone, Morrison is not good enough, Tunchev will not come back. Get someone in in the January window, a good solid Championship centre half for a mill or two. "We need a striker who if he gets 2 or 3 chances, will score 1 of them." We have one; unfortunately, he's just about to leave as he hasn't been used.
