lestajigs Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 Yaya Toure v Richie Wellens!!! Got to say Man City are playing some great football tonight, look very strong. What u on about?? there playing shit, unless u count 10 men behind the ball good football??
RizLCFC Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 That's probably because they're playing Jo in attack, replace him with Balotelli or Dzeko and they'll be more of an attacking threat.
ajthefox Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 Considering we aren't much good at defending anyway I think our only hope is to come out the blocks quick and get an early goal. Then the crowd will be behind us and that will work in our favour, especially against a team full of primadonnas. You know how it is when we start slowly, the crowd gets nervous and edgy. We really need to create a cauldron of noise. I think bombarding them early may make them uneasy and would be the best idea. If we are going to lose at least lets give it a real go. I want us to at least create some chances and miss them, rather than having no threat and them just being comfortbale. no-ones got the balls to ****in shoot hopefully on this slightly bigger stage someone might want some spotlight and have a pop
Kitchandro Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 Though they were extremely negative and lets face it, thuggish tonight, they looked very solid. I hope they all get food poisoning before Sunday.

Or pass most of the time. Heading isn't our strong point. We don't have many battlers. Or much pace. So I'm hoping they all watch some inspirational videos/speeches before the game to get them up for it, and they play out their skins

Corky Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 Man City generally are good on the road, you can understand the set-up this evening but they'll attack us from the start.
RizLCFC Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 Playing some great football? What part of the game were you watching? They came and parked the bus. It was an absolute bore-fest. Ok it wasn't great football but they went to Arsenal with a plan and executed it really well, they looked very solid and there passing was generally quick and one touch, which could be very difficult for us to deal with.

ilcb Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Hi all, Man City fan in peace. Looking forward to the game on Sunday, should be a good one. I run my own City forum, so just like to say if you want to ask any of our members any questions, please feel free to leave them here and I'll post them on my forum. I'd leave a link but I'm not sure if you're Admin would allow that. Anyway guys, good luck on Sunday and may the best team win.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 To ilcb the Man City fan - yeah i hope its a good game aswell, really looking forward to it, ive heard your sending a strong team down which will be good for the game but not so good for our chances of winning i suppose. Godd luck for the rest of the season

Godd luck for the rest of the season Hi, thanks for the reply. It's the FA Cup, anything can happen, we could be without Silva and also Zabaleta if the FA don't rescind the red he got last night. Dzeko could be making his debut though I believe. Good luck for the rest of your season too.
cc_star Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Stringer just tweeted £393m - how much Man City have paid for their current squad (taking Tevez as £47m+Dzeko as £27m and done) Piece of cake is what I say ... maybe

Moreno, yes, but he won't feature. Not sure we paid fees for anyone else?

Take Berbatov he cost 30 mil on transfer fees alone I don`t see the media adding his wages and bonuses on top of his fee.

Good point, most people think Stringer (our local BBC football 'reporter') is a dick Lets knock it down to a much more palatable £373m

Taking into account transfers, wages and infrastucture the total came out at......... 1.08 Billion Quid!!
yorkie1999 Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 They might have spent 393 million on players but at least we don't rent our stadium from the council
