LCFC_15 Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Leicester are linked with him. Here's the link: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_6638388,00.html He's only 24 years old and scored against Leicester in the Championship for Millwall. Also scored an hat-trick against Crystal Palace before he had to return to Southampton.
Reborn Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Southampton winger Jason Puncheon could be set for a move to the Premier League, skysports.com understands. The 24-year-old has just completed a loan spell at Millwall and he was particularly impressive for Kenny Jackett's side. Millwall are now desperately trying to negotiate a new loan for Puncheon - who scored five goals in seven appearances for The Lions. However, Southampton are now fielding enquiries from a host of clubs from both the Premier League and the Championship. The likes of Wigan, Bolton, West Ham, Swansea, Portsmouth, Leicester and Middlesbrough are all believed to be keeping tabs on his situation. From SSN Feel he'd do well here, but another unlikely signing if Wigan, Bolton or West Ham do go in for him, but I'd fancy our chances if they didn't. Thoughts?

Reborn Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 I'm fairly sure he was born in London area so West Ham would be a country mile ahead of us.
Stevosevic Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Personally don't think we are in for him, probably just threw our name in there because they know we are looking for new players and have money.
milan_foxes Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 If he can score goals, regularly, then get him.
STUHILL Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Where does he play? Right Mid? Out and out winger is he? It's an area I think we need as Gallagher although the dead ball specialist in our team, still falls short in my opinion Dyer and Puncheon on the wings sounds tasty enough
milan_foxes Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Gallagher shouldn't be playing for us at the minute. Yes, he is good at penalties, but his corners are shite and his free-kicks haven't been up to scratch. His overall performance isn't good enough to get into the starting-eleven.
Walshy5 Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Would be a cracking signing. I reckon our names just been thrown in there though because we have money like Stevosevic said. I dont think Sven will be looking to strethen this area though tbh because unfortunately he seems to rate Gallagher to much and he seems undroppable if theres such word.
hackneyfox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Strange career that he's had 2003–2004 Wimbledon 8 (0) 2004–2006 Milton Keynes Dons 34 (1) 2006 Fisher Athletic 1 (0) 2006 Lewes 1 (0) 2006–2008 Barnet 78 (15) 2008–2010 Plymouth Argyle 6 (0) 2008 → Milton Keynes Dons (loan) 9 (1) 2009 → Milton Keynes Dons (loan) 18 (3) 2009–2010 → Milton Keynes Dons (loan) 24 (7) 2010– Southampton 33 (3) 2010– → Millwall (loan) 7 (5) But he can play on either wing so could replace either Dyer or Gallagher.
JamesLCFC Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Played for my home team dons, wasnt as good then. Definetly upped his game now!
Stevosevic Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Another one that AIN'T gonna happen!! Wouldn't be bothered if it didn't, much better players out there than him.
Stueyt74 Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Scored a screamer with him on Fifa the other week. Sign him up.
Ozwin Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 I said we should go for him the other week when he scored past us. Go me.
hackneyfox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Another one that AIN'T gonna happen!! You make it sound as if you know something, or are you just expressing your opinion?
surrifox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 wasn't he invited along to a city match by Pearson when we were in Division 3? He was looking for a club at the time. For whatever he reason he didnt join then so cant see this going ahead and cant say i'm bothered.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Do we need him? I dont really think so, good enough player but not really any better than what we have. Theres no point signing people for the sake of it.
themotivator Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 i wouldn't object to another option for right mid. if thats where he plays.
paddy Agyemang Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 I think we'd rank above West Ham unless they've got very strong connections to London he was born in london, croydon so probably looking for a move there??? lestajigs Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 You make it sound as if you know something, or are you just expressing your opinion? My opinion mate
ajthefox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 I rekon that's just lazy journalism, we haven't exactly been looking for a winger, although I do think a real right winger is something we need.
The Doctor Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 he was born in london, croydon so probably looking for a move there??? why? If i'd escaped croydon before i wouldn't want to be moving back there.
