He can take Crncic with him on loan if he likes, I think we all want to know whether or not he's real.
Corky Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Best of luck to him, top bloke and I'm sure he'll be a good manager. 100% record as manager with us too
SeCrEt FoX Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 .My only misgiving is that he's actually too nice a bloke for management. I really, really hope I'm wrong because I'd love the bloke to be a success, one of the last true gents left in the game. Mourinho, Ferguson and Wenger for example are all the kind of blokes you'd probably wish to avoid in a pub. There again, Sven is the example of a nice guy doing well in management if that's the route Powell is going to take. Let's hope Chrissy P can emulate him; he's learned under two good managers, one young and one old head so he's well-prepared.Best of luck Chris, we're going to miss you. To be fair i think that is the reason he will be a success, just for the relationship he has with people and his presence . Lets face it we'd all love him to be are mate. He's just that type of bloke if you get what i mean. All the best Chris
Fox You Forest Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 I don't see the problem with managers who are too nice, I mean Sven hasn't done too badly for himself throughout his career, as long as he has someone in his management team willing to do it he'll be fine.
lcfc_jme Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Devastated. Though I wish Chrissy P all the best, he's one that actually deserves all the success he gets.
dave_the_fox Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Yeah man look at sven - soon got Derek in for the dirty work! Wonder who chrissy p will have? He will be missed

Hopefully you're right. A ball buster in the coaching staff and a manager who believes in mutual respect can make for a very healthy management team.
Edmund Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 I hope we help him out and loan him some of our players who aren't getting a game here.
Ross-Kemp Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Good luck chris, be missed up here. Hopefully in 2 / 3 years time when sven retires he can take over
Matt Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Shame but good luck to him, Hope he has a good managerial career.
Salieri Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Gutted to see him go obviously but delighted he has a chance to prove himself in management (at his second favourite club). Really hope he does well and returns here one day with a chance to manage us. Good luck Chrissy P.
Len Finsbury Posted 14 January 2011 Posted 14 January 2011 Shame he's gone. I hope we don't let Stowell join him as his assistant.
