Clubs deny things to pretend that they're not interested or if they genuinely arent interested. Agents can be right asses. 11th hour bids are common. Don't get your hopes up but equally don't rule it out. Oh btw, the scout doesn't work at city now since PS went so I can't get an insight on this situation.
