Mee? What does this say about Sven's view on Hobbs? If Jack gave away two penalties(well.. one) in a game he'd be out of the 11 for the next game!

Oh well, come on Leicester!! scrappy win tonight. :scarf:

Mee gave away one penalty (2nd one clearly wasn't) and everyone has written off his Leicester career already! He is very highly rated at Man City for a reason. Better option than Hobbs in my opinion but does need to put in a solid performance tonight. Attacking wise, throughout the whole team we look quick and dangerous. Just hope we can work hard and keep it tight at the back as well.

He only gave one away the other was a refereeing error and maybe Sven prefers someone with a left foot in the left CB position.

now do people believe me that Sven has something against Hobbs? Absolute joke. even if he did have an aweful game last time round due to it being his 'first proper match' why on earth would you try it again?

Expected that team. Evidently Sven fancies Mee to do a job at LCB, and who're we to argue :dunno:

Anyway, I'm sticking with 2-1 to us. Yak & Vassell.

Yes we believe you because we know that's Sven's a nasty twat like that and hates certain players, after all he wouldn't leave him out for football reason would he?

no I don't believe you. Hobbs has been poor this season. Mee over him? Not sure but Hobbs can't complain imo.

dont want to argue but I struggle to understand how steadfast Sven seems to be with certain decisions...he clearly doesnt think Bruno is good enough yet wants him as back up - he clearly doesnt think Hobbs is the real deal yet puts in an on loan rooky. I feel for both Hobbs and Bruno who lbh deserve a little more

Something against Hobbs?? Haha Mee is left footed which I'm led to believe makes a big difference in the LCB position and Hobbs is hardly going to take Bamba's place. People talk about "chosen" men all time with managers well it seems Hobbs has become some of the fans chosen man! He has been nothing like as good as he was last season and Sven can only judge him on what he has seen and thinks we would do better with Mee.

I think the new style we are playing, i.e not hoofing it out of defence is not in Hobbs game at the moment and we need a more technical player on the ball. Step-up Mee who has had rave reviews from Man City. Lets at least give him tonight to see if he can improve and help us tighten up the defence which leaked goals with Hobbs in earlier in the season.

If he doesn't rate him, he doesn't rate him, it doesn't mean he has something against him. Lets face it, Hobbs has been woeful this season and has done nothing under Sven to Warrant being first choice.

At the end of the day, do you trust the man who has won numerous trophies around Europe and would of had us top if it were not for the first 8 games?

Great point, same could be said of "Waggy". Oh and I hate it when people call him that.

Would of preferred to see Gally back in, but Sven knows best.

Hopefully Mee will have a stronger game tonight, im excited which usually means we'll lose!

Because he can't pass the ball out of defence?

Sven tried to get Daveies and Bruma, has Norales on trial too. He wants a defence that are comfortable on the ball, Jack as well as he did for us under Pearson, isn't.

WTF, Mee?

Mee was the only one I didn't factor in. He needs to get his legs under him. I am sure he'll perform.

Yeah, it was Mee's left foot that gave away the penalty in the first 2 minutes against Millwall. I hope his selection doesn't come back to haunt us.

And it was Hobbs who gave away a penalty against Man City and should have been sent off.

Neither proves anything other than occasionally a defender will inevitably concede a penalty.
