The Foxes will be looking to keep their unbeaten league record in 2011 on Tuesday night, as they aim to return from Bramall Lane with all three points.

Sven-Goran Eriksson's men continue to climb the npower Championship table and currently sit in eleventh position, six points away from the play-off places.

In their last match, the Foxes registered a convincing 4-2 victory over Millwall at the Walkers Stadium. City took the lead on eight minutes after Andy King's superb through ball found Lloyd Dyer, who slotted home past Lions 'keeper David Forde.

James Henry replied moments later, when he fired home from 20 yards, leaving Chris Weale with no chance. The Foxes took the lead again after Yakubu's clever 22nd minute strike found its way past Forde to put the home side back in the driving seat.

On 35 minutes, Sol Bamba added another to his tally when he put City 3-1 up. The game looked to be heading for a comfortable home victory when on 69 minutes, Ben Mee was adjudged to have fouled Chris Hackett in the box, giving the Lions a chance to get back into the game.

Jack Smith converted the penalty to make it 3-2, but the celebrations from the visitors were soon cut short when Berthel-Askou was sent off for a two footed tackle on Yakubu. From the resulting free kick, Richie Wellens fired in a pin point ball into Sol Bamba, who chipped the ball over David Forde and secured all three points for the Foxes.

Eriksson will be looking for his team to continue their improved form on the road in 2011. Three points from Bramall Lane could see the Foxes climb to seventh place.

Sheffield United currently sit just outside of the relegation zone and are without a win in seven games.

Since the appointment of former Foxes boss, Micky Adams, the Blades have picked up just two points from a possible twelve.

Their latest defeat came at home to Norwich City; the Canaries won the game 2-1 with an Andrew Crofts brace condemning the Blades to defeat.

United's failure to clear a Norwich set piece saw Crofts on hand to hammer the loose ball into the back of the net to open the scoring.

The home side looked to have earned a point from the game when Ched Evans converted another set piece, much to the joy of the home crowd.

The home supporters' joy was short lived as Croft blunted the Blades on 80 minutes, firing home from another corner kick.

Micky Adams will be looking to register his first win as Sheffield United manager on Tuesday evening, which will be all the sweeter against one of his former clubs.

Great bench, apart from Howard,Logan and Oakley. Think Gally on bench as he hasn't fully recovered yet. Is this a 4-3-3 formation do you reckon?

Bit disappointed it's Mee for Hobbs, but I trust Sven knows what he's doing. Slightly annoying not to see Gallagher, but who would you drop? Vassell and Dyer both look sharp at the minute. Fancy us to do this tonight.

Posted

Why Mee? Clearly not ready at this level on last performance. (In Sven we trust and all that Jazz)

Grrr, really dont see why Hobbs isnt playing. But anyway.....

This and saturdays game are massive, potential to shape rest of the season.

If we have any aspirations of going up 4 points is a minimum and with a few of the top six coming up soon, it could mean the table starts to look more favourable should we take some points off of them.

If we dont concede in this match I'll be astonished. They dont score many at all, so we'll let in three!

On a serious note though, that defence is very questionable. Unless we score a few and kill the game off, I dont fancy us.

People, please calm down, it was his first ever match, let's trust Sven on this one.

Although i am happy to eat my words if he scores an own goal tonight.
