Guest BlueBrett Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 It has actually been a pretty decent start. Hard to believe it will continue this way for long. I think we will win 3-1. I will be very upset if Bendtner manages to score past us. Shit! At least it wasn't Bendtner. I've got a feeling I am going to like the Bent/Rooney combination up front.
StanSP Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Drop Glen Johnson please! He's been dire this season. Had a poor game so far. Walcott did exceptionally well for the goal. Lively start.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 I would love to know the combined yardage of Darrent Bent's 14 goals this season. I'd be surprised if it was over 100 Drop Glen Johnson please Been saying that for at least a year. He's terrible.
Bugg Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Would rather see Walker play in a friendly like this than Johnson.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Tinpot country. I went there last summer because my uncle was marrying a Dane and everything is such a bloody rip off! You're looking at about 3 quid for the smallest can of beer you have ever seen. It was 7.5% or something but still I wont be hurrying back. Having said that, Copenhagen would be a sweet place to live for a bit if you were a Billionaire.
Finnegan Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Tinpot country. Yet you're struggling to beat them.
Jackirius Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Yet you're struggling to beat them. Because we are shit, i can see us losing this.
StanSP Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Eriksen smashes the post from edge of the box. He's been brightest of the Danish players so far I think. Kid's got potential!
Mee Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 There's no spirit there any more and the passion of 'i'm playing for my country'. Any how, been a decent enough start. Great play from the Danish when they hit the post.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Because we are shit, i can see us losing this. As long as they keep going through Bendtner in their build ups we'll be fine
Bert Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 I'm getting quite annoyed how they're going on about Wilshere. Townsend just seems to me like he's patronising the lad a bit. "Wilshere's gotta work out how to do this" "that's it, get up, find your man" Tosser.
Webbo Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Decent win. Missed the first half hour because I didn't realise it started so early. Scot Parker had a good half.
Filbert_Ross Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 dont matter which fringe players played well tonight come the qualifyers they'll be dropped and the same old bums will be back in the starting line up.
StanSP Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Missed the second half, any good? Yep much better than first-half. England did most of the attacking and could be argued that we should have scored more than 2. Was good to see a better performance without the likes of Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney and Rio on the pitch.
Wymsey Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Didn't really watch it as i went to the pub, but i glanced at the game a few times and thought the passing was terrible. (Like Leicester's on an away day )
Corky Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Yep much better than first-half. England did most of the attacking and could be argued that we should have scored more than 2. Was good to see a better performance without the likes of Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney and Rio on the pitch. Okay Good to get a win.
shen Posted 10 February 2011 Posted 10 February 2011 Christian Eriksen. He did look good didn't he? That said beside him we're utterly devoid of any attacking talent. Bendtner only gets us so far... Tinpot country. Spot on. Like it that way I went there last summer because my uncle was marrying a Dane and everything is such a bloody rip off! You're looking at about 3 quid for the smallest can of beer you have ever seen. It was 7.5% or something but still I wont be hurrying back. Having said that, Copenhagen would be a sweet place to live for a bit if you were a Billionaire. It's expensive yes, but we also earn comparatively more than the British. It isn't that much more expensive than the UK if you look at it that way. London is fully comparable to Copenhagen.
