Kurrif Posted 22 February 2011 Posted 22 February 2011 If he punches it can go anywhere and doesnt get much distance so tends to come straight back at us. If he catches it and distributes it keeps us in control. I understand that in some instances a punch is the only thing you can do but I dont understand why these continental goalies punch in situations where they can catch?

Can't imagine our back-line think the same if something is catchable, we need to retain the ball so as not not concede another attempt on goal

I actually rate him as one of our most important players & am genuinely gob smacked when I see people saying he's poor. He might just be the difference....
