acooling08 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I'm starting to get fvcking sick of him tbh. I could tolerate his laziness, the fact that he doesn't run or jump for headers, his selfish play etc when he was scoring. But now he is missing good chances consistently and not producing any quality at all.He gives it away way too easily considering his strength. He should be replaced but knowing the stubborness of Sven, he'll have to score a hat trick of own goals before being dropped. If he has to play then I'd much rather see a 4-4-2 with Yak playing with Waggy or Vassell - someone who actually seems to give a shit about Leicester. If he really is on £55'000 a week as rumoured on BBC RL then he really isn't worth it. At least show some fvcking effort.
FoxesFan123 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 We were playing so well when we had Vassel down the middle. He's wasted on the wing. But, it's the Yak, he has quality and the ability to win games, just needs to show it more often!
Guest bennytwohats Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 You're a fool. Chasing every lost cause down isn't part of his game - it never has been. Too easy to get on players like that and focus on what they don't do. Just like all the united fans that wanted Berbatov out in the summer - too lazy, uninterested etc... How did that go again? I mean really - what did you expect? If he had all those things and what he is bringing currently he'd be up there with the best strikers around - and not playing for us. He's done very well for us so far.
Webbo Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Tbh I feel that if we could have swapped him for Marlon King for the day we could have won comfortably.
Jackirius Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Ohhh don't let MTWG see this thread. He will give you a lecture on how much the Yak is really on.

MikeyT Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I'd say the last couple of games there hasn't appeared to be much effort put in from him, but i'd still have him in our squad over the majority of other strikers in this league.
Christoph Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 SVEN TO BE SAAAAACKED!!1111 OH right wrong thread.
Matt Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I said during the Derby match, he's lazy, and doesn't add much to the team, he's just been bought in to be fed and score. But that's exactly why he's be bought in, to be fed and score. He won't score every game but he'll score more goals (Over a full season) than any other striker at the club.

Here here, agree OP is just trying to get a rise, way OTT
CKB Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 The Yak has always been known for his lazyness, etc..BUT what he is known for is scoring goals and he's done that everywhere he has been and doing a good job with that here aswell 7 games 4 goals is it? either way a good return and if that stays the same he will get into double figures easy and that would be an excellent return
FuriousFox46 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 SVEN TO BE SAAAAACKED!!1111 OH right wrong thread. Milan?
The MayneFox Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Im getting sick of him to, put Vassell in the middle and dyer on the wing. i couldn't give a S*** that "Chasing every lost cause down isn't part of his game" he's playing up front on his own, i know he is not use to it, but he dosnt run, jump, score properly, he has only scored 1 brilliant goal (derby). He has to work, not counting how many £10 he can fit in while doing a jog/walk down the pitch.
Jimmy Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 yeah I suppose a goal every other game is totally unacceptable, get rid...
Webbo Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 yeah I suppose a goal every other game is totally unacceptable, get rid... He's scored some good goals for us and won us some games, that doesn't mean he's above criticism.
ajthefox Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 4 goals in 7 games. put that rate into a whole season and you get nearly 28 goals. If he could guarantee that you'd be an absolute moron to say no, good work rate or not.
Ross-Kemp Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 TheMayneFox , he doesn't score properly ? Just how do you score properly ?
acooling08 Posted 26 February 2011 Author Posted 26 February 2011 yeah I suppose a goal every other game is totally unacceptable, get rid... Scoring every now and then doesn't make up for the fact that he contributes very little else.

There`s so much wrong with this post I genuinely don't have the time to break it all down and consider a response, so I'll leave you with a summary; You sir, are an idiot.
smudger63 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 The yak will do until the end of this season, but i wouldn`t want us to buy him for next season, whichever division we are in!
ScouseFox Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Scoring every now and then doesn't make up for the fact that he contributes very little else. What else does he need to contribute? Strikers are for goalscoring! We spent the first 4 months of the season complaining we had strikers trying and not scoring. As for every now and then, better than one in two isn't good enough, yeh? I guess some people just can't be pleased.
