Samilktray Posted 4 July 2013 Posted 4 July 2013 Only clubs I go in these days are strip clubs. Try to avoid Fanclub & Mosh like the plague. Full of lads who shop in Burtons, linking arms and singing Mr Brightside or some other shit to each other.

Kitchandro Posted 12 July 2013 Posted 12 July 2013 Monday nights folks? Where's the best places to go? Wouldn't usually go out on a Monday but circumstances make it either then or nothing. And I haven't been out in months.

And I haven't been out in months. Hmmm.. not sure tbh, I know that Monday's were big when students were still about but obviously they've all gone home. Probably just bars.

I think Mosh is closed on Mondays so it will have to be Republic. Even though I promised myself I wouldn't go back. Will probably string it out at the bars for as long as possible.
deejdeej Posted 12 July 2013 Posted 12 July 2013 Used to go soar point all the time, decent staff and nice pub with a good atmosphere. Avoid it at all costs now, the managers a pleb, the staff can't crack a smile and its full of students that look down on anybody that doesn't have a posh accent.. (I know its a student pub by the way)

deejdeej Posted 12 July 2013 Posted 12 July 2013 Is the manager still that tall fat lad, who used to have his jeans halfway down his legs? Last time we went there it was a ginger bloke, James I think his name was. Decided to chuck us out one night because somebody near us dropped their pint glass and he blamed us. A real jerk.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 13 July 2013 Posted 13 July 2013 Hate the Soar Point - such a shitty boozer. When your having a game of pool and some lads start running around the table chasing eachother then you know it's time to leave and never go back.

He went back in about three weeks later and kicked his condom machine in.
Ozwin Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 What's Mosh like on a Tuesday? Mate wants us to try it next week but with it being the summer and no students about it'll probably be more wank than normal right?
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 I'm probably still barred from Life for fighting a bouncer for turning me away for being a bloke. I was meeting a girl in there and he prevented me from getting sucked off. I was livid.

Fox42 Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 What's Mosh like on a Tuesday? Mate wants us to try it next week but with it being the summer and no students about it'll probably be more wank than normal right?Well I'm a DMU student and during the year, Tuesday's is the best for "variety". Bottom floor/Bar Gaudi - Mainstream pop Middle - Alternative/Rock Top - Dubstep/DnB/Remixes/Trance It can be a bit shit but most nights it's hilarious. Not too sure about the summer, mind.
ousefox Posted 7 August 2013 Posted 7 August 2013 I was taken to Mosh by mates at Leicester uni when i went out with them. Not a patch on anything in Newcastle but it was a good laugh really. Music was decent enough. Wouldn't want to be going there all the time though.
