Bugg Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Chicharito and Vidic for me. Vidic has been an absolute monster in defence this season.
StanSP Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Vidic is over-rated in my humble opinion. Gone for Scott Parker and Seamus Coleman.
Samilktray Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Charlie Adam and Seamus Coleman is who I want to win.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Tevez and Wilshere Neither VdV or Nasri have done much in the last 2-3 months
The Doctor Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Don't understand the love for VdV - been average since christmas. Adam & Hernandez for me.
SystonFox Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Nasri on both for me. No doubt vidic will win it though
Jimothy Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Think Nasri deserves both, but I don't like seeing players win both so would like Nasri to win the player and Bale to win young player. Nice to see they spread the nominations around the teams this year though. Adam and Parker may be in struggling teams but they've both been excellent. Too often in past years has the list been dominated by the big four.
Mee Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Parker and Wilshere. Although Van der Sar would have been a choice for me.
sdb Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 So hard, i'm really pleased that players outside the top 4 have been picked. I went for Nasri and Bale mind. Adam would be my 2nd, Parker 3rd. Or the other way 'round/
ScouseFox Posted 8 April 2011 Author Posted 8 April 2011 Gareth Bale's odds on to win it, mile ahead of everyon else, but only 1 vote on 'ere. Wide spread as well, all of them have reasons to win it.
FoxyPV Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Parker or Adam deserve it - they're bringing the rest of their team along kicking and screaming. Nani for Young Player.
Narborough_fox Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Adam and Hernandez for me, close between Adam and Scotty for me both exceptional performers for their clubs.
Finnegan Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 VDV has been immense. Adam and Parker might have done well 'considering' but they aren't in his league. Would like Bale to win the youh award but they'll be already etching Wilshere's name on.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Tevez and Wilshere The best finisher and the most promising youth.
StanSP Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Heard earlier today that Bale has won the Player of the Year.
StanSP Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Team of the Year Van der Sar (Man Utd) Sagna (Arsenal), Vidic (Man Utd), Kompany (Man City), Cole (Chelsea), Nani (Man Utd), Nasri (Arsenal), Wilshere (Arsenal), Bale (Tottenham) Tevez (Man City), Berbatov (Man Utd) Can't believe Baines/Evra aren't there instead of Ashley Cole and surprised about Sagna's inclusion. Also surprised Modric isn't somewhere in there as for me he's been Spurs' best player. Not too fussed about the rest of the squad, to be honest. Seems alright.

He might be top scorer, but 5 of those came in one game and he can barely get a game now. There haven't been many stand out strikers, but maybe Hernandez could have got the shout. Cole's spot should have gone to Baines like you say. And Sagna's place, is tougher to pick but it shouldn't be him Although saying all that, it's done on votes isn't it so can't really complain too much.
