But like I said, I think it's one of those that someone posts on a board, someone else reads it, they tell someone and then that person goes on the same board and says they have heard the same thing. It gives the original rumour some legs, but it's actually just the same rumour regurgitated.

The guy who posted the comment doesn't look like an ITK and a random "text" holds about as much weight as somebody saying "my uncle plays golf with this guy who did some plumbing work for a man whose butler told me that Maynard was seen in a limo with Sven and two buxom blondes".

I have also heard that NM could well be on his to LCFC tomorrow but another club have expressed interest in him since coming back from Portugal. It's all hearsay at the moment but in all honesty I expected him to sign a new deal with us? As for Pitman, he's a good finisher and has good movement in the box. Whether he'll get 20 goals or not we'll have to wait and see.

Got a feeling alot of games may be being played,by both clubs. Possibly a case of bluff and double bluff. IF, it is true that we have put in a bid of 5.3 million for him, i would be amazed if any other club would be willing to match that. Maynard is good, but not 5.3 million good!

Anyway back to NM, from what I've heard a 4th bid has already been made and is likely to be accepted (most likely before pm training) but as I said another side have expressed interest.

Redski Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 I tend not to go on OTIB, as you are probably aware it can be a pretty depressing place! I don't know who the other club are, all I know is that an enquiry has been made since we returned from Portugal.
Bausor Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 The only other club interested in maynard is bristol themselves as i very much doubt a lower prem club would be willing to pay that kind of figure seeing as danny graham was sold for 3.5m, champ clubs wont pay that either
