cc_star Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 I suppose it's a good reflection of why we're talking about this player so much, he scores goals!!! Yup.
Itsthejoeker Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 I suppose it's a good reflection of why we're talking about this player so much, he scores goals!!! But is that all he does?! Pft
The People's Hero Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 I believe he also fulfils the necessary LCFC criteria of running about a lot and showing passion (sorry, pashuuuuun) - indeed, I've heard it said he's been known to kiss the badge. Instant 'legend' within two months against what I like to call the 'blutards'.
Wymsey Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 But is that all he does?! Pft No point in getting him then, eh?
Itsthejoeker Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 No point in getting him then, eh? I'm just not sure we should buy a striker who just scores goals
Wymsey Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 I'm just not sure we should buy a striker who just scores goals What else does a striker have to do, apart from trying to kick a ball into the net?
The People's Hero Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 We should get Hume back. He ran about loads and made stupid decisions and threw himself in to stupid challenges and very rarely scored. Leicester fans would love him - oh, wait, they do.

RyanB89 Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 I'm just not sure we should buy a striker who just scores goals You bein silly?
easilee Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 What else does a striker have to do, apart from trying to kick a ball into the net? WHOOOOOOSH!!!!
Bezzanator89 Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 What else does a striker have to do, apart from trying to kick a ball into the net? Tell that to Akinbiyi when he played for us.
millzi Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 annoying thing there is that his Brizzle lovers will be coming on here giviing it the ' told you Maynard was a a great scorer and be saying how much he loves the club because of his celebration, ect.... But it was against Plymouth... Your gif sig I can see this one going onnnn and onnnn and onnnnnnn. It won't be concluded before the start of the season I feel, and by then I think we will have found someone else and he'll regret not handing in his transfer request
lcfcjim Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 No Nicky Maynard in the team for todays friendly. I wouldnt read too much into that, he played against Plymouth last night.
wellyfox Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 No Nicky Maynard in the team for todays friendly. Injured or broke down after the last game. He can not need a rest surely? Or has he flown to sweeden??
lestajigs Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 No Nicky Maynard in the team for todays friendly. Maybe he's being rested, if he can't even do full training sessions?? Hope I'm wrong though
cc_star Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 He played in friendly last night... he's hardly going to be playing today. Following their community manager on Twitter & a few of their players are sitting this one out
thybluefox Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 I'm in no way saying there is anything in this, but only 3 players who started last night aren't on the bench today. 2 are injured, the other is Maynard.
dpjfox Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 someone will report theyve just seen him soon, either at Morrisons or at Swedish training camp
millzi Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 I'm in no way saying there is anything in this, but only 3 players who started last night aren't on the bench today. 2 are injured, the other is Maynard. Maybe BCFC are just teasing us fans
thybluefox Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Maybe BCFC are just teasing us fans Apparently he's not been able to train twice a day since his injury so they could be resting him for the same reason. I personally would have thought they'd still include him in the squad but hey, what to I know!
FoxyPalace.com Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Bristol City lost 2-0 to Torquay today, ha ha Maynard must be blind if he cant see that the future at Ashton Gate is not looking good. Still think he will sign for us the mighty Foxes, Hopefully before the Real match that would be nice!

FoxyPalace.com Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 All the more for them to keep him Nicky will make the decision not the club, if he wants out, they will sell him, hopefully no other bids will be made so he comes to us.
