Still think he will sign for us the mighty Foxes, Hopefully before the Real match that would be nice! Pre-season, remember Newcastle losing to someone like Leyton Orient 6-1 in pre-season and then walking the Championship that season. You can take nothing from pre-season results as to how the season will pan out.

If we try to rush a deal through, we could be paying a crazy sum. Have to be patient. Maynard or the Yak before start of season would be great.

Prem clubs will never pay the sort of money its going to take to prise him away, although Bristol City may let him go to them for less than it would take us His fee would be far lower in Jan & then nothing next summer, that means the transfer fee saved will result in even better wages, signing fee & bonuses for him, if he says he wants to do what's best for himseld AND Bristol... he can't what's best for him is worst for Bristol and vica versa

Will1981 Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 Cant believe were still after Maynard the guy is worth 2m max, 5m is just crazy for a player who has had one good season especially when we sold Fryatt who had a similar scoring record and age to Maynard for 1.2m.
