The Chairman said we wouldn't sell to a championship club, people believe him or not. I think it may be the owner in the background bankrolling Maynard staying, while trying to get him to sign an extension to his contract. I can't see any other reason for the Chairman to set himself up like he has. He'd look a bit of a berk if he did sell to Leicester and supporters would be on his back for gobbing off and then backing down.

Bean_Head on twitter is the media manager and he was first to confirm the bids and that the club has turned them down. It's part of his job (or his teams) to upload the info to the official site after all, but he doesn't upload everything.

Never mind though, Sven has done well. Can he hack it, handle the pressure? Are you worried about your owners lack of money? £130m net worth is not a lot. If you dont go up this season then I fear for your clubs future. Our owners are worth about 1.5 bil and avid BCFC fans. Do you really think £4m for Maynard excites them?
