He would do a decent job and certainly knows where the net is (as you said).

He didn't do too well at Sampdoria but the English game suits him and I guess Fergie doesn't see he is ready for premiership yet... brief stint in championship might be what he needs.

Pearson nearly had him, deal fell through then we got Waghorn. Only loan though..
