HowardsBulletHeader Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 I think potentially he is a good player, just not now. He loves to bomb forward & stay there, when his main job is defending. I love to see full backs bomb on, however when they can't be bothered to get back it leaves us too open at the back.
Ozwin Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 He said he wold come and give it me before the game It's not even his twitter is it?!
lcfc81 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Just me and shiv think he's actually a potentially good player then? He was instrumental in the second goal at Derby and is never going to be done for pace. He does need to work on tracking back a bit because he's so attack minded but he has potential for sure. Very much in the Ashley Cole mould of wing-backs. I would also like to have him at LCFC. If we had him for a full preseason and then start some games regularly I think he could be quite handy, just a bit naive at the minute imo, nothing a full season in the Championship won't sort out.
dannythefox Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 I think berner can do a better job than pva so if thats in case its good news! even though berner wont be here next season we might have cunningham though!
StanSP Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 He said he wold come and give it me before the game Aww. You see this? That's playing just for you.
Bob.For.The.Win. Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Am I like the only person that actually loves the guy?! <_<
The Doctor Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 loves? probably. I do think he's a fairly decent player and has been slated on the basis that he's a loanee and "loanees ****ed up our season" - how dare they come in with us languishing near the relegation zone and only carry us to a play-off challenge that was ended with only 3 games to go
MC Prussian Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 I'd love to keep Van Aanholt, but play him as a winger next season. He's much more impressive going forward. His defending can be atrocious at times. This way, it'd free up space for Bruno Berner, whom I'd also love to see in a Leicester shirt for at least another season.
CupidStunt Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Fake account on Twitter eh? Maybe we can get him arrested then for that, and also for fraud for impersonating and pretending to be a professional footballer

thybluefox Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 People need to let go of this idea that berner is somehow the left back svens been looking for. I'd welcome back PVA or Greg with open arms.
dawg Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 PVA is better than bruno but bruno is my hero for some odd reason. Would love PVA to stay for another season
MC Prussian Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 You'll never see Bruno Berner in a Leicester shirt again. Sorry. That's quite a downer on a Tuesday morning. Last thing I heard was that Bruno was about to talk with Sven about his future at the club. Where do you get your info from?
VinceNoir Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 Keep him, and play him as a winger maybe.. Or try and teach him how to defend. I think he's a decent player.

TheUltimateWinner Posted 23 May 2011 Posted 23 May 2011 "I don't think we can write anyone off. They all had varying degrees of success. The likes of Mee, Van Aanholt and Bruma are outstanding players who are going to have outstanding careers, either at Leicester or elsewhere. From Svennis earlier, Not enough to start a thread I know but no mention of naughton?
Karljohn Posted 23 May 2011 Posted 23 May 2011 Pvas twitter: This is The Happiest day ever... going on holiday ... And for all the chelsea fans.. I'm staying at the bridge another 4 years ... Best news ive heard for a while that, and looking forward to meeting up with PVA in 2012/13 season in the premiership, he was so far out of position he could have sat in SK4 at times.

eaststandtom Posted 23 May 2011 Posted 23 May 2011 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6947434,00.html doesnt surprise me this. the guy is clearly a player. obviously needs to shore up on his defending. concentration is perhaps the key.
Alex Black Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 It would appear PVA has signed a new contract with Chelsea. I still don't see him getting into their first team as a regular though. Will he go out for another season on loan? BBC Sport - Patrick Van Aanholt
