FuriousFox46 Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 It's an old list (5 years old) in fact but I doubt it would have changed much in the last few years. And 14th is something we can be quite proud of, it's above Forest, Derby and Coventry. http://www.roymorgan.com/news/press-releases/2006/490/
Brown Fox Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 How are Hearts anyway near that big? They're a tiny club. All prem clubs at the moment are bigger clubs than Hearts and half the bloody championship is as well!
jonthefox Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 Now you know why the thais bought us. premier league = kerching.
purpleronnie Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 Chelsea supporters are: More than twice as likely (164% more likely) to have been to a beauty salon or spa in the last three months.
Corky Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 It's a very creditable effort, when you consider we've never won the league or Fa Cup.
Bert Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 How are Hearts anyway near that big? They're a tiny club. All prem clubs at the moment are bigger clubs than Hearts and half the bloody championship is as well! They play in the capital of scotland....

FuriousFox46 Posted 5 May 2011 Author Posted 5 May 2011 I think our fan base is defo prem!!! Were better then Wigan blackpool Blackburn Bolton Stoke brum west brom fulham Of the current season, our support is only second to Leeds.
Aberdeen_fox Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 How are Hearts anyway near that big? They're a tiny club. All prem clubs at the moment are bigger clubs than Hearts and half the bloody championship is as well! I agree, not a chance Hearts should be that high.
lestajigs Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 Of the current season, our support is only second to Leeds. What about Norwich to?
DB11 Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 It's a very creditable effort, when you consider we've never won the league or Fa Cup. We've won League 1
Alexikokopops Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 Of the current season, our support is only second to Leeds. If you ignore Norwich and Derby then yes, you are correct http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/DivisionalAttendance/0,,10794~20107,00.html
Brown Fox Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 They play in the capital of scotland.... But they only average 14,500 a game?? Whereas Sunderland get over 35,000 every game and when they fill it which they do a few times a season that's 49,000. And that's just an example of one club not on that list, whereas every other club in the premiership has better attendances than them as well as 18 championship clubs and 3 league 1 clubs. Therefore how they are on that list is a mystery to me.

Because if you asked an Aussie company to do this survey, and they asked 5000 people over a period of 18 months 7 years ago, then that's probably the sort of sh1te they'd come up with. They seem gobsmacked about how many more Glasgow Rangers fans are members of the Church of Scotland and read the Daily Record than the norm for UK football fans. And don't get me started on the finding that Liverpool fans are partial to spray tans. This is straight out of Brucie's "Play your cards right."

Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 May 2011 Posted 6 May 2011 How's it worked out?? From the fact Hearts aree so high up I guess they're giving each club a radius and counting the number of people within it. Which would put a lot of London clubs pretty low as they're close together (even though London has a high population)
sven-your-smiling Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 so we should be, we're better supported than any of our rivals and we are a PL team. ( well not yet )
Fox92 Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 I think we are a well supported club, obviously backed up with this evidence.
