Foxybeaver Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 West Ham are now relegated, what does everyone think they will do next season? Win the championship, play-offs and so on
James18 Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Was anybody watching SSN? Was quality, they were all going crazy!
MikeyT Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Think this should probably be in the General Sport section mate.
Corky Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Wouldn't mind facing them early next season, see what they're about.
Mack Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 With a pair of pikey owners I can see them making some wrong moves in the summer. Was there any need to fire Grant there and then? They could have let emotions calm down and had a more mature chat tomorrow.
Fox You Forest Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Delighted, only because Upton Park needs ticking off the list and we're in the last chance saloon.
smallpauldj Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 There fans are all tossers as well thinking there something special 1 deff away day which I dont want to miss. I'll never forget there supporters and constant abuse of Leicester when I was in Kent in a pub watching England destroy croatia. As you can tell I hate west ham with a passion!
Jordan Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 With a pair of pikey owners I can see them making some wrong moves in the summer. Was there any need to fire Grant there and then? They could have let emotions calm down and had a more mature chat tomorrow. Maybe they should stick with Grant, as West Ham are dropping closer to his level.
Zingari Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 this probably means only one automatic promotion place to fight for
Bryn Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Think their owners are a clueless set of ***** and they'll rot down here for at least 2 years before someone with two brain cells to rub together, either a new owner or a good manager, takes them back up again.
Itsthejoeker Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 I like the fan who claimed they took 10,000 fans today, then when he was told by the SSN interviewer it was actually 4,000, he decided to make it 6,000.
Alexikokopops Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Ace. A local away game for me, and this (and Dagenham and Redbridge) are the only London league away games I haven't done.
Stevosevic Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 this probably means only one automatic promotion place to fight for Don't agree. West Ham will lose alot of players and have serious financial problems, they won't walk it. It took them two attempts last time so no reason why it won't again.
Jimmy Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 I can seriously see WHU dropping like a stone with they money problems and few talented players they have leaving
gazfox9 Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Don't agree. West Ham will lose alot of players and have serious financial problems, they won't walk it. It took them two attempts last time so no reason why it won't again. Totally agree with this. It could be the start of some very bad times for west ham. Its pretty much certain that Parker, Green, Upson, Cole, Noble and a fair few others won't hang around for a taste of the championship. I can't see them going straight back up next season at all.
ajthefox Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 would rather west ham won so wigan were all but down if i'm honest. Although by the sounds of it, particularly with already sacking Grant it wouldn't surprise me if West Ham tanked it, which would obviously be better for us.
sdb Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Ba and Parker won't be there. Their 2 best players. Keane and Bridge will leave. Hitzlesperger too? Noble may get picked up (not a huge fan anyway), Upson will probably have to leave (wages), same with Green. They're in a financial mess. Won't walk it, but i'd expect them to do okay.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Glad they are down, dont like them or thier fans.
ozleicester Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 See them having a similar experience to Boro... a good couple of years to restructure.
Guest Bilo Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Very tough season awaits them next season I reckon. A mass exodus of players, difficulties in finding a new manager for a club on a downward curve and money problems is no recipe for success. There again, we said the same about Newcastle and look how that turned out.....
