Callabinho Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 They can't afford to buy all of these players. I don't like Gold and his gay partner!! anyway big sam doesn't have anything on Sven.
Nick Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 This will I am sure be comfort to big Sam, Col! Massively risky plan.. However they should have a bloody good squad. As you said before the parachute payment should help (I think this is about 16 million quid now)? Allardyce usually knows what he's doing and the signings they have made I would have made too Anyway, enough of them, back to us...
80footgiraffe Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 They can't afford to buy all of these players. I don't like Gold and his gay partner!! anyway big sam doesn't have anything on Sven. west ham can buy a few good players and be about £60 million in the red and it will come back to bite them on the arse, so I'm not worried if they carry on buying these lot, we're being sensible and not wanting to turn out like them.
dpjfox Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 i hope sven got him to sign a pre contract before West Ham started to splash the cash
The Doctor Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 i hope sven got him to sign a pre contract before West Ham started to splash the cash pre-contracts mean **** all. Just because a player has signed a pre-contract, doesn't mean the deal can't be cancelled by either party.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 20 June 2011 Posted 20 June 2011 Wolves have enquired about him surely rules us out of signing him now unless if Sven never actually wanted him. Sky Sports News: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_6997421,00.html
RedHux Posted 20 June 2011 Posted 20 June 2011 If you promise not to tell anyone I'll let you into a secret regarding Konchesky............................. .........he's expensive and not very good.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 20 June 2011 Posted 20 June 2011 If you promise not to tell anyone I'll let you into a secret regarding Konchesky............................. .........he's expensive and not very good. We know as we have seen him play for you lot last season. He's fvckin shit!!
jonw88 Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 Linked with him today again: http://live4liverpool.com/2011/07/view-from-the-kop/reds-prepared-to-take-2m-loss-on-full-back
Stevosevic Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 Doubt we will sign him as it looks as though the South African LB will be joining.
StevieLCFC Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 Linked with him today again: http://live4liverpool.com/2011/07/view-from-the-kop/reds-prepared-to-take-2m-loss-on-full-back Just read that too mate, wouldn't be a bad signing? Doubt we will sign him as it looks as though the South African LB will be joining. But Sven did say he wants to build a squad of 23-ish players all challenging for the first team.
Stevosevic Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 Just read that too mate, wouldn't be a bad signing? But Sven did say he wants to build a squad of 23-ish players all challenging for the first team. I imagine our LBs for the season will be Berner and the SA international.
StevieLCFC Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 I imagine our LBs for the season will be Berner and the SA international. Yeah you're probably right, would prefer Masilela to Konchesky anyway..
ScouseFox Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 So you'd rather have Berner than Konchesky? I'd love it if we got him, bar his spell at Liverpool he'd be a good signing.
hackneyfox Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 Berner wasn't fast enough last season. Another year older .....
escos Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2011/07/04/wolves-call-off-ryan-bertrand-chase/ Plus Rob Tanner said weeks ago that what he was asking for was ridiculous.
hackneyfox Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 I wouldn't trust anything the express or star print about anything. I wouldn't trust anything about a players salary that any paper printed. Just look at the claims made about yakubu's salary.
Happy Fox Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Liverpool-defender-Paul-Konchesky-in-talks-with-Leicester-City-manager-Sven-Goran-Eriksson-about-a-1-5m-transfer-article763755.html Sven Goran Eriksson is set to save Paul Konchesky from his Liverpool nightmare. The Leicester City boss is in talks with the 30-year-old defender over a £1.5m transfer. Konchesky, who has been told he can leave Anfield after just one disastrous season, is prepared to take a substantial cut to his £40,000 a week wages to revive his career
John Matrix Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 can only see there being talks as a contingency for masilelas permit
