ealingfox Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 I know it's only Daily Mail, but... My link Thoughts? Not so sure myself to be honest
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 Yes please solid Prem player suprised he is only 30 tho
Brainy Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 yes please. dont care if he was rubbish with liverpool, we're not fighting for top 4 Prem.
David Guiza Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 I seen a rumour he was going back Fulham as Salcido wants to go back Mexico, all paper talk. He wasn't anything special for Forest, to say the least, during his loan spell although would add much needed experience to our back line.
ajthefox Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 Looks like it's based on fvck all but would have him here in a heartbeat. Was never good enough for liverpool but is definitely good enough for a lower prem side, nevermind us.
Christoph Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 He'll be more solid at the back then PVA and be able to make better runs than Bruno, so i'd take him but he didnt half have a shocking season for liverpool
Brown Fox Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 Would definitely take him. Very decent defensively and can attack just as well.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 He's quality... did a really solid job at Fulham and wasn't all bad at Liverpool. He's got a bullet of a shot on him as well, and he's not afraid to try, which is good!!!
Lester LXXIV Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 A solid and experienced full back. Yes please Sven!!
teblin Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 A solid and experienced full back. Yes please Sven!! Spot on Noticed that he made a couple of England appearances under Sven too.
sdb Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Hmm not for me. Has had a horrible season. Career on the decline imo.
RedHux Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Shite at Forest He wasn't shite. He just wasn't as good as we'd expected him to be. As has been said, he's a good solid LB....but that's about it.

RedHux Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 We'd happily have him. Would prefer Bertrand but that's not going to happen. Infact, if anyone knows a left back could they contact [email protected]
teblin Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Strikes me as a decent player who had a good season with Fulham last season but had a dodgy start at Liverpool and his confidence was knocked. He went to forest while they were on a dodgy run and that did nothing for his confidence. Think he also picked up a few knocks whilst at forest which doesn't help.
Simo86 Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 We'd happily have him. Would prefer Bertrand but that's not going to happen. Infact, if anyone knows a left back could they contact [email protected] Ryan McGivern
Ric Flair Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 The thing with Konchesky is that he only shows his true ability when he's settled. He's moved to a couple of clubs where it's not worked out but when he plays for a manager and a club that truely want him then he's very good. I'd not be surprised to see West Brom go in for him again, but if we could get hold of him then i've every faith he'd be mustard at this level.
RumbleFox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 This from the guardian today: Liverpool have won the race to sign 15-year-old Alex O'Hanlon, regarded as Ireland's most promising teen and also coveted by Real Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United. On their way out of the city are Paul Konchesky, the Leicester-bound full-back flop, and Everton's Joseph Yobo, Yakubu Aiyegbeni and James Vaughan, at least one of whom is also likely to join Konchesky and Sven-Göran Eriksson at the Foxes. Wouldn't mind all four to be honest. Rumble X
The Doctor Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 We'd happily have him. Would prefer Bertrand but that's not going to happen. Infact, if anyone knows a left back could they contact [email protected] another spell at florist for Alan Rodgers & Andy Impey?
