Callabinho Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Yobo would sort the back 4 out, imagine bamba and yobo CB! Get elekobi in and thats a hench back four!
Jimmy Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Forest fans were hardly glowing in their support of Konchesky, plus apparently Fulham want him back
Libertine Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Well it's Yakubu out of those surely? Fenerbache have an option to buy Yobo for £5million.
PegguyArphexad Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Konchesky is nearly a done deal... source from Southampton who also enquired of his availability
MikeyT Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Never really been a Konchesky fan, but i'm sure he'd be good for a promotion chasing Championship side like us, if he stays injury free.
David Guiza Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I did wonder what had happened to Joseph Yobo, was a class act in the Prem a year or two ago. Not too sure about Vaughan though he'd be a good squad player but I almost certainly wouldn't start him.
ScouseFox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Konchesky's better than Bruno, the only other left back we have. He's also better than PVA or Cunningham, two others who we have had. So, yes, yes please.
Bryn Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 He's a Premier League left back, who warranted a place in the team of the Europa League finalists, who has been on the fringes of the England squad, who merited scouting by top 4 clubs. No brainer. He'll go to a Prem club though.
Joe. Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Just spoken to a journo on Twitter. He says he thinks Sven would like him, but Konchesky has two or three offers from the Premier League which could prove a stumbling block.
Simmo86 Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Just spoken to a journo on Twitter. He says he thinks Sven would like him, but Konchesky has two or three offers from the Premier League which could prove a stumbling block. Fanhouse?
Joe. Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Fanhouse? Yeah, seems to be in the know with a lot of things from what I've gathered.
Soar Fox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 We'd happily have him. Would prefer Bertrand but that's not going to happen. Infact, if anyone knows a left back could they contact [email protected] Very good chance of Joe Mattock being your left back next season.
Simmo86 Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Yeah, seems to be in the know with a lot of things from what I've gathered. Yeah seems to know alot on the inside goings on at Forest Pity we haven't got anybody like that on Twitter Very good chance of Joe Mattock being your left back next season. Could you imagine the reception he would get at the Walkers if he came back playing for that lot!!
Corky Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I named him in the team I want for next season, so hopefully he'll join.* *It might've been Adam Drury, one of the two anyway.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 He certainly does have plenty of ability, but how long would it take to see it. On paper, I would take him My concern is that the "idiot brigade", could get on his back if he takes a while, and screw him,and the Club up.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 Link Liverpool defender Paul Konchesky will sort out his future and probably return to London with former clubs West Ham and Fulham both interested. A move to Leicester City is also been mentioned.
MikeyT Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 Stupid West Ham for being relegated and being linked with all the players we want!
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 Stupid West Ham for being relegated and being linked with all the players we want! And to think that people were saying that west Ham would have no money! At this rate there'll be no one left!
ithuriel Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 At this rate if West Ham do not go up they will be even more bankrupt than they already are, huge, huge risk they are taking. If it fails they could go down the leagues instead of back up. Considering on that Alan Sugar footy investigation the owners said they got into trouble paying inflated wages, have they learnt any lessons?

West Ham are playing roulette and putting it all on RED this season. If they don't go up then BOOM - administration and liquidation methinks.
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 West Ham are playing roulette and putting it all on RED this season. If they don't go up then BOOM - administration and liquidation methinks. Massively risky plan.. However they should have a bloody good squad. As you said before the parachute payment should help (I think this is about 16 million quid now)? Allardyce usually knows what he's doing and the signings they have made I would have made too Anyway, enough of them, back to us...
