leicesterisme Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Doesn't surprise me at all. He's always struck me as a cocky, arrogant player. I always remember when we played QPR at our place at the start of the season and on of our players hit him hard and the ref gave nothing so he proceeded to pull his captains armband off and punch the floor, i found it hillarious. Oh and then when Savage raped him for 90 minutes live on television, that was great to watch. As you can probably see I absolutely despise the cocky little fooking wank8r.
ajthefox Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Taarabt is acting like a stupid knobhead. He's quit the Morrocan national team because he was told that he wouldn't start the next game. What a tosser. fixed
Nick Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Villa have ruled Hughes out of the job, apparently. images
Super_horns Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 Swansea are getting Danny Graham off us for 3.5 million..seems a good deal for them considering the Millwall chap has gone to Norwich for 500k.
Samilktray Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 Norwich and Swansea seem to be going for Championship players. Well mainly Norwich.

ScouseFox Posted 7 June 2011 Posted 7 June 2011 Liverpool on the verge of signing Jordan Henderson from Sunderland. An offer of £11m + N'Gog has been tabled, but Sunderland want £20m or £13m + N'Gog. Is he really that good?
Soar Fox Posted 8 June 2011 Posted 8 June 2011 Liverpool on the verge of signing Jordan Henderson from Sunderland. An offer of £11m + N'Gog has been tabled, but Sunderland want £20m or £13m + N'Gog. Is he really that good? Being English is what have raised the price to that much. If he was foreign probaly get him half of that price.
Guest ttfn Posted 8 June 2011 Posted 8 June 2011 What on earth are Liverpool going to do with all these midfielders? The end of Stevie G at Anfield?
Happy Fox Posted 8 June 2011 Posted 8 June 2011 http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2011/06/08/west-ham-bid-for-newcastle-united-ace-72703-28841909/? WEST HAM United have tabled a £3million offer for Newcastle United captain Kevin Nolan. The Scouser rejected an extension to his current deal at United recently but is thought to be keen on seeing out the peak years of his career on Tyneside. New Hammers boss Sam Allardyce wants Nolan to spearhead his promotion drive next season at Upton Park. Toon fans are not too impressed http://www.nufcblog.com/2011/06/08/west-ham-bid-3m-for-kevin-nolan/?
Jimothy Posted 8 June 2011 Posted 8 June 2011 Liverpool on the verge of signing Jordan Henderson from Sunderland. An offer of £11m + N'Gog has been tabled, but Sunderland want £20m or £13m + N'Gog. Is he really that good? Phil Jones off to United for £16m. And people wonder why Wenger buys foreign! Jesus, Phil Jones and Jordan Henderson moving for a combined £36m! Add to that the £35m spent on Andy Carroll in January, is it any surprise managers look abroad. Arsenal signed Nasri for half of what Liverpool paid for Henderson and I honestly can't see Henderson being half as good as Nasri. They also signed Vermaelen and Koscielny for the same amount Man Utd have splurged on Jones. Vermaelen has been a rock for Arsenal before is injury and whilst Koscielny hasn't exactly pulled up trees, I've seen nothing from Jones that shows he'll be a that much better. And what did Javier Hernandez cost? £8m? Four young foreign talents for less than it cost to sign Andy Carroll. It's madness!
The Doctor Posted 8 June 2011 Posted 8 June 2011 couldn't agree more with facecloth - the media in paticular whinge and whine about teams signing players from abroad rather than bringing youth through or signing british talent and putting that at blame for england doing poorly but why should the managers sign british players when they can get far better players for far less?
Jimothy Posted 8 June 2011 Posted 8 June 2011 couldn't agree more with facecloth - the media in paticular whinge and whine about teams signing players from abroad rather than bringing youth through or signing british talent and putting that at blame for england doing poorly but why should the managers sign british players when they can get far better players for far less? It's also the same media who claim whilst we have too many foreigners, we also play too many games in this country making our players tired. Both statement can't be true, because if we have too many foreigners then surely our players won't be getting many games and therefore should be sprightly and it would be the foreigners who are tired.
FoxyPV Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Martinez signs extended contract at Wigan after turning down Villa
StanSP Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Bradley Johnson signed for Norwich, on a free from Leeds.
Jimothy Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Saw a rumour this morning, in the Guardian Rumour Mill, that Man Utd were going to sign Samir Nasri for £12m. Roughly what Arsenal paid for him, a despite vast improvements and an brilliant season last year his price hasn't risen. Crazy. Makes the Henderson fee look even more ridiculous now.
Super_horns Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Hoping Man U do sign Ashley Young as we get a sell on claue of 15%...would be very handy!
