Bellend Sebastian Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Has anyone else posted this bollocks yet? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-13713798 Not ready for timewasters either. You could probably think of hundreds of made up things the council is not ready for. This is up there with that posh twat that started the Facebook campaign to start people panic buying carrots, and anyone that's ever put 'Jedi' when asked about religion on a census form
Bellend Sebastian Posted 10 June 2011 Author Posted 10 June 2011 They weren't ready for The Rapture either, but they got away with that one
Jon the Hat Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 This is on the BBC News homepage. good to see Leicester getting up there for a quality story again after Colin's brilliance last year.
Finnegan Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 I would just like to say that my department deal with the zombie horde daily and we are WELL prepared for a full blown uprising.
I am Rod Hull Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Im from Derbyshire, our council are ready ready ready ! Get to the nearest super market and climb on the roof..
Samilktray Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Cant say I feel to safe knowing we're not prepared for this kind of thing.
hairy Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Having visited the council offices recently I believe it may be too late and that at least half the employees are already infected.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 10 June 2011 Author Posted 10 June 2011 My understanding is that Parks and Museums are both at a heightened state of readiness (as well as having contingency plans for dealing with the Loch Ness Monster and the Cybermen), but that the rest of the council only have a vague plan in place for if everyone gets blinded by a meteor shower and there is an infestation of 8 foot walking plants with big stings. There's still plenty of money for black lesbian drop in centres though. You couldn't make it up, but I just did
Dames Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 I have to say i've had plans to deal with this event since i played the first resident evil game.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 10 June 2011 Author Posted 10 June 2011 I must admit to having been very blase about all this at the start of the thread but I'm becoming wise to the reality of the threat. I'm moving house soon and I'll be asking the vendor some very searching questions about whether the property has been properly zombie proofed
Finnegan Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Having visited the council offices recently I believe it may be too late and that at least half the employees are already infected. I wish I could protest.
Unit Posted 11 June 2011 Posted 11 June 2011 We should empty Welford Road prison and hide in there, them walls would take some scaling!
Fosse Boy Posted 11 June 2011 Posted 11 June 2011 Say what you like about this story but it's got those young people talking about politics again.
Tincy Posted 11 June 2011 Posted 11 June 2011 Leicester city council arent ready for ****ing pot holes and snow never mind zombies!
Guest Bilo Posted 11 June 2011 Posted 11 June 2011 From what I see most of Leicester's zombies end up in fvcking Skegness over the summer anyway, so we only need to worry about them 9 months a year.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 Leicester City Council, still have time to prepare. I don't come up until the end of October.
Finnegan Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 Leicester City Council, still have time to prepare. I don't come up until the end of October. Sorry, who are you?
FoxyPV Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 Sorry, who are you? One of the council tenants that has starved to death because you forced them out onto the street and has come back to lead the Zombie invasion.
Stadt Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 If we were attacked i'd drive to tesco's or BnQ and just start making Left for dead type weapons, Where would you go?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 If we were attacked i'd drive to tesco's or BnQ and just start making Left for dead type weapons, Where would you go? Hmmm, good question. Somewhere with one way in, good visibility, sturdy walls, away from urban areas... Anyone for venison? (I'd burn the bracken back though.)
