leicesterisme Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Wow, we will really struggle to ever see a worse game than this. Truly Awful.
Webbo Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 There's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. Dreadful, Ukraine were crap but at least they had a few shots on goal. Worse game I've seen in years.
Swampdog Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 ive seen worse games in the senior squad.. i watched England senior team draw 0-0 to macedonia at old trafford.. compared to that, this match was well entertaining
davieG Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Well it sounds like I did the right thing missing the 2nd half.
Corky Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 'Arry for the England senior and u-21 managerial roles.
AjcW Posted 15 June 2011 Posted 15 June 2011 Why does the sub heading say "three points for young lions"???
CosbehFox Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Well it sounds like I did the right thing missing the 2nd half. The last ten mins were England's best. Lanbury and Sinclair came on and played well. Either way it was worrying, just like the Under 19s last summer. The passing is woeful. Fielding's aka Pieface is like a retard with his distribution Will say though the back four have been superb over the two games.

Jones and Smalling are going to be top notch centre halves, would love to see Bertrand here next year.
purpleronnie Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Why does the sub heading say "three points for young lions"??? Because everybody thinks england will win every game because we're that good!!!!
accessory Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Jordan Henderson.. £20 million.. Indeed. Steve Bruce deserves the Businessman of the Year award..
davieG Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Indeed. Steve Bruce deserves the Businessman of the Year award.. He's building a reputation for it - Waghorn
accessory Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Wow, we will really struggle to ever see a worse game than this. Truly Awful. You clearly haven't been watching City for very long, certainly not while Kelly, Megson or Holloway were in charge. England did at least manage a few shots on target near the end. Hope Pearce picks a more attack-minded team in the next game..
accessory Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 He's building a reputation for it - Waghorn A top signing in more ways than one. Shame he has yet to live up to the promise he showed while Pearson was here.
davieG Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 A top signing in more ways than one. Shame he has yet to live up to the promise he showed while Pearson was here. But not worth what we are said to have paid unless he can improve his weaknesses quickly.
Darkon84 Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 Is Mancienne suppoed to be a footballer? Because he certainly didnt look it yesterday. Jones at the back looked solid though, looked considerably better value for money than Henderson, thats for sure. Lansbury, and Sinclair need more of a chance. FACT
Brown Fox Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 Hopefully today's game will be better. Was really excited to watch England u21s and was so disappointed with Pearce playing long ball! Ruined it! I've become so disillusioned with the full England team I thought the u21s would get me excited about international football again! Danny Rose is so average. Fielding Walker Jones Smalling Bertrand Cleverly Rodwell Henderson Sinclair Welbeck Sturridge That would be a very good team. And forgive me but 2 years ago was Pearce u21 coach as well?
Guest Mee-9 Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 A top signing in more ways than one. Shame he has yet to live up to the promise he showed while Pearson was here. Like the cheeky pun there.
Bugg Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 When Sturridge learns to pass a ball he'll be a good player.
lcfcsnow Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 Wellneck has been shite in every game, dont deserve to go through.
sdb Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 Didn't see the 2nd game but from the other 2, Sunderland must be laughing re: Henderson. £20mill my arse.
BlueSi13 Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 Our defense is a cut above....but our midfield really is a turd. Looks like we are set to limp out the tournament undefeated and after only conceding 1 goal (and that from a set piece handball) Very disappointing so far. Maybe they can surprise us though second half
Webbo Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 It's been an improvement on the Ukraine game, I wouldn't dismiss our chances of winning this yet.
Salieri Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 Pearce shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the U21 team. We've got some talented players, but Pearce is clueless as to how to get the best out of them.
