Libertine Posted 28 November 2011 Posted 28 November 2011 What makes so many of you confident Southampton will drop down, they've been fantastic this season. This is all from June/July.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 28 November 2011 Posted 28 November 2011 Did a BBC predictor up till New Year and we were 4th.
lcfc_sam_p Posted 28 November 2011 Posted 28 November 2011 I still think we'll be top 4 come boxing day. We have a run of fixtures now where we could pick up a lot of points.
whoareyaaa Posted 28 November 2011 Posted 28 November 2011 we will be 4th - 5 points of Autos by boxing day. You heard it here first.
Legend_in_blue Posted 28 November 2011 Posted 28 November 2011 Between now and then we will battle our way into the top 6. It won't be pretty but it'll be effective and productive from a points tally point of view.
Tielemans63 Posted 28 November 2011 Posted 28 November 2011 Ask me in a couple of weeks... On a serious note I think, from a psychological point of view, it's vital we're in the top 6 by xmas and more so that we've registered back to back victories by then.
jprs1976 Posted 28 November 2011 Posted 28 November 2011 I think we will be in 5th place by christmas
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 November 2011 Posted 28 November 2011 I think we will be in 5th place by christmas I said 7th under Sven... and stick with 7th
accessory Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 I think some posters should be on a diet of humble pie for the forseeable. Or at least be reviewing their medication...
Jace Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 Hii Blues! Why don´t we get for number one? 1: Leicester 2: West Ham 3: Cardiff 4 and after not intersting me.... We need Blueredswed back possibly as part of Pearson's management team
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 I think we will be 2nd behind west ham but be the two stand-out teams with a considerable gap to 3rd.
Bugg Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 Ah, the old "I told you so" merchants are out in force. How about instead of rubbing in the fact about how right you were, just shut the fvck up. At the beginning of this season we all had the right to be optimistic, we'd just spent a fair amount of money assembling a team that looked a real dominant force on paper, we were playing some nice football the season before but were frail defensively and after the few defensive signings we made, looked like we had finally got the finished article. Our squad looked like they had a great chemistry, even in the friendly against Madrid, we had players throwing themselves at everything like their lives depended on it. It finally seemed like this season was going to be one of our best seasons in a long time. So stop gloating about the fact that your negative opinions turned out to be true, just because we had optimism at the start of the season is nothing to take the piss out of when things haven't turned out correctly
MrFox781 Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 13th I never have been very optimistic. And Sven will have been sacked and our top goal scorer will be Howard with 7 Got pretty close mate.

Danny the Fox 95 Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 HAHA funny how everyone was saying 4th,5th,1st. And were 12th, dear me. At least we aren't Forest or Cov though
Happy Fox Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 HAHA funny how everyone was saying 4th,5th,1st. And were 12th, dear me. At least we aren't Forest or Cov though That excuse doesn't wash down anymore sadly, with the level of investment we have we should be doing better.

So stop gloating about the fact that your negative opinions turned out to be true, just because we had optimism at the start of the season is nothing to take the piss out of when things haven't turned out correctly To be fair, no one is that happy about the ruin of the season - it does seem sad that so many on here wanted a change after the Millwall game and really it was at that point that any hope we had seemed to die - if you do criticise the chairboy or the way the clubs business is handled, you do get shot to shit on here though so although I wish I and the few others who aren't sucking Thai dick from morn to night were wrong, it is all looking a bit like non football people running a football club and we are not that different to Blackburn, whose idiots in charge got rid of big Sam and screwed them up, possibly for many years and will then probably sod off and leave them in deep crap - want to be wrong about this too, but it doesn't feel that way.
