whetstonefox Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Very bizarre but the opening question on Question Time tonight was basically asking if Leicester can win the Premier league can another outsider Donald Trump win the Presidency of the US! Then the panel praising Leicester!

Leicester’s Fairytale Narrative Hides Dark Reality – Racism And Domestic Violence I expected him to be a Spurs fan it was so salty but he's a Palace fan, I suppose it is hard for other small teams to wonder why their teams can't kick on. The comment about the music and clappers is weird, Palace have a real bold eagle that they fly about the ground, cheerleaders and a reworked version of The Jams A town called malice.

I work 2 miles from selhurst park, with loads of palace fans. I actually used to hate the club, but the fans i know couldn't have been kinder or more gracious in our glory. Just like the some of those idiots on the spurs forum you can't tar them all with the same brush.

I have to admit, I agree with some of his points tbh and it seems everyone I know, most of whom have never had anything more than a passing interest in football are suddenly died in the wool longtime Leicester fans. ow they want to extend the ground so 55,000 people of Leicester can go and watch them because this is showing what a big fanbase they have. I remember 7 years ago when they had 15,000 turn up to watch a 0-0 draw with Northampton (I should know - I was there with my Cobblers sister kinda of has a bit of a gripe against us mainly though, i get we annoyed him the way we stayed up last year and they went down after spending all that dough on rubbish players

RonnieTodger Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Was actually over 22,000 for the Northampton game. More than that tiny club could possibly get no matter how big the game is.
FrankieADZ Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Funny considering the attendance for that game was 22,795. blimey thats more than I thought it was tbh, still has a point regards the whole extending the ground thing, since, i highly doubt it will be full if we went down, maybe we should put a temporary stand on the roof or something

What is their actual solution? All a bit 'look at me' for me. And it's hardly a hidden narrative, seen it mentioned in plenty of articles on a number of websites, newspapers etc.
