Unit Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 Or if we're worried about someone taking the money in the paypal, we could all meet before the Real Madrid game? Best bet is to get somebody like DavieG to sort it, he did the foxestalk brick in the 125 wall
Jackirius Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 Or if we're worried about someone taking the money in the paypal, we could all meet before the Real Madrid game? Well when you send the money it shows his address, so if he takes it you have that.
John Matrix Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 Well when you send the money it shows his address, so if he takes it you have that. paypal are notoriously lax[sic] with stuff like that
KFS Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 Okay, so how are we doing this? Cos we could do a list of who will contribute in this thread. I do think this needs to be done in fairness, as some of you may have heard, our new CE was talking about building relations with the fans, and I think they deserve some appreciation via us. Would FoxesTrust get involved?
jonthefox Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 Best bet is to get somebody like DavieG to sort it, he did the foxestalk brick in the 125 wall I think he got a bit sick of asking people to pay up in the end.
davieG Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 If someone sets up a pay pal, ill contribute to both the banner and Foxestalk. There's a donate button at the bottom of every page for Foxestalk Best bet is to get somebody like DavieG to sort it, he did the foxestalk brick in the 125 wall Thanks for the thought but I'll give this one a miss not only because of the hard work involved but I'm not that convinced the idea is sound both in principal and value for money.
Houdini Logic Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 I think the FoxesTalk brick was more difficult becuase Davie needed the money by a certain time. My suggestion would be for someone to set up a Paypal and everyone to send a quid or what they can. If/When you reach the target THEN order te flag. If you're a few weeks in and it looks as though you're never going to make it then donate the money to FoxesTalk.

liamsm Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 Has anybody thought of asking Jobber to sort a banner out? and like already suggested meet before the Madrid game to make donations. Just a thought
evs_the_fox Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 At work, we're having a 5m x 3m banner printed onto 340gsm Vinyl PVC. It'll cost £157.50 (got the quote this afternoon!) I'm more than happy to pass the company's details on to whoever places the order, they're very reliable, used them plenty of times in the past. I'm a designer by trade so have plenty of experience with banners/large format printing etc. Great idea btw *Edit* To avoid confusion, you can have any sized banner you like, I was just using ours as an example – 15 sq/m for £157.50...
Clarkielcfc Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 Great idea. im in we really do owe something back as fans, just to say thankyou to them!!
Wymsey Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Have a muck about Here A 12ft x6ft comes in at roughly £100. 100 members @ £1 each?. I don't mind at all contributing despite not being in that part of the ground where its proposed to be placed, if that's alright
The Year Of The Fox Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 i'd be up for chipping in. doubt you'd get 100 people willing to chip £1 in. (no I'm not taking the mick- theres a big difference between someone saying they'll do something and someone actually doing it)
jonthefox Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 I don't mind at all contributing despite not being in that part of the ground where its proposed to be placed, if that's alright I dont know where that is.Its not been mentioned has it?.
Jackirius Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 I dont know where that is.Its not been mentioned has it?. Well it's not going to be in a corPorate box in the west stand is it.
KFS Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 I'm willing to chip in. Anyone got any banner ideas yet? I was thinking- 'To the Top' with his face on it. Some people recommended we make it applicable to both of them. We could have a really cheesy one- 'Top's Kop'
HEGGSY Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 http://www.yelxo.com/flags-c-2.html my mate bought a flag of here before said they were good quality, not sure about the price though, although it does look as if they mainly make flags for Sheff U going by thier gallery, but they do look good
Mack Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 I'd like to know where all this money is being sourced from before shooting my bolt over them. Look at Brum.
