Jakemoore Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Mee has a crunching tackle but often looks seconds away from a sending off and Vitor is a good defender and scores goals but is partial to a few mistakes. Vitor i guess.

Guest MattP Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 As a player Vitor. As a signing Mee. Mee looks a real prospect and its possible could be a fixture in our defence for years, Vitor is THAT good I think he would be here until the end of the season max before going to a far bigger club.

Mee is a very good defender no doubt, but a very different type of LB to Masilela. He is not any where near the attacking fullback to our new South African recruit. Which I think is very important to the style of play Sven wants us to use. He would be very handy tohave a cover for the left side of the central defence and left bacl. But from the reports coming out he may be reluctant to come if he is not assured more first team apperances.
kingfox Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Mee had the worst debut I have ever seen in my life, then he turned his fortunes around and became an absolute gem in our side. Honestly if it wasn't for Ben Mee we would have lost about three games last season when he played, especially the home match against Sheff Utd he was amazing in that game and made some crucial blocks. Vitor along with Naughton though was my favourite loan signing of the season, he can attack and defend especially when playing right-back, centre back he can tackle and always makes the right pass which is excellent to watch. I would take both
Jobyfox Posted 9 July 2011 Posted 9 July 2011 Tough one this as they are both very steady players. Mee can play left back and Vitor can also do a job at right back. I didn't go to away games (i.e. QPR) and when I saw Mee at LB he was pretty awful. Vitor - just
