Mario Balotelli!

It's not bad it's bizarre.

One week he gets sent off for a karate kick then a week later he gives thousands to a tramp.

But his still the biggest cock in football though, deluded guy who spoils the game of football.

Get's sent off for a karate tackle in a Europa League game

Has his car smashed in

Suffers an allergic reaction to grass

Throws darts at youth team players

Attempts a back heel what goes all wrong

Confronts a bully who was bullying this kid who came to the Man City training ground

Wins thousands at a casino and gives half the money to a tramp

Then the picture where he fights with his own team mate

He has only been at Man City a year and has done all them things, what a cock

I actually quite like him, and hes a super player.

Seems to be not as deluded as most footballers who wouldnt even think about giving that much money away.

Personally, I think you spoil the game of football.

Don't forget being arrested and questioned for deciding to randomly visit and drive in to a female prison.

The bully story wins it for me - he demanded to see the headmaster and mediated between the two kids. Legend.

If that went in, everyone would have loved it.

It's all over the news here, saying that 'that' kick was disrespectful....What a load of bollocks. It's a friendly ffs. Entertain the crowd.

I suppose when Ronaldo does his shit against us that'll be disrespectful as well??

I loved it

Ronaldo's part of this same tour, but he's not being a dick. He's just scoring and setting up great goals.

There's a difference between élan and showboating.

And thats bad why?

Whilst is looks a fantastic gesture he was criticised by a lot of homeless groups for doing it....

Because the money would have been much better used going to administrators at charities who can type up how angry they are about people giving money directly to homeless people

It's pretty clear his team mates don't like him.

His manager doesn't either... Unsurprising really! Who the hell walk off the pitch and tells their manager to shut up, any of us would be sacked on the spot!

He has shown sweet FA of his supposed talent since signing for city.

How anyone can call him entertaining or a legend is beyond me!

If he actually started playing well he might get away with a stunt like that, Ronaldo would get away with it because it's more than likely in the same game he would of already scored/set up a goal or gone on to do so.

Grade A Idiot and until he starts playing as he supposedly can he's bringing a bad name to the premier league as well.

I wasn't saying I agreed with them btw.

He's entertaining, clearly though a whistle had gone otherwise he wouldn't have made such a big deal out of being took off.

If he thinks the ref's blown his whistle, then he's kicked the ball away. Book him.

im sorry but im the same age as him (give or take a few months) and yes i know hes a brilliant footballer but who does he think he is?! you are payed to play a game of football. listen to the boss, listen to the ref and learn basic social skills! he is basically the winehouse of football. just does what he wants when he wants and throws a tantrum when he doesnt.

I guess he should act more like the Premier League nice boys and give generic and mundane press conferences, trying to come across like role models so they don't mess up their lucrative advertising deals while they're secretly paying off the girls they're fucking behind their wives backs or the guy whose face they smashed in at a night club.

The guys wears his heart (and often stupidity) on his sleeve, he's not trying to fool anyone and doesn't seem to give a damn about all the bullshit that's around in modern day football.

To me he is everything thats wrong with it, no respect, no loyalty, greedy, annoying. Own team mates hate him, managers can't control him, finds its funny to throw darts at youth team players. Blessed with so much talent and makes it look like playing football for 200,000 a week is the hardest and most distressing thing in the world to do. I watch him and I want to turn off my TV and shut myself away from watching premiership football.

No idea why so many people like him, if Joey Barton did half the stuff he did he would be crucified.

...if Joey Barton did half the stuff [balotelli] did he would be crucified.

Look, I dislike Mario Balotelli, too, but let's keep things in perspective. Joey Barton has been sentenced to prison twice and has behaved violently in games and in training several other times. Mario Balotelli might not be getting crucified because he's still not even close to doing half the stiff Joey Barton has, and being an ex-con, everything Barton does that is remotely controversial will be under the media microscope.

As much as Balotelli comes across as a bit of a tit, it's easy to forget he hasn't exactly had it easy.

Given up for adoption by his birth parents who wanted little to do with him until it became apparent he was going to become a successful footballer, suffered racist abuse from his own supporters in Italy and really quite seriously ill as a toddler with intestinal problems. Considering he's not yet 21 he has actually had quite a rough start.
