Looked like they'd walk the league early doors but they've been shocking recently. Ashley Young and Rooney were pitiful tonight. Interesting that for all the hot air that's blown over Rooney, they missed Hernandez massively.

Looked like they'd walk the league early doors but they've been shocking recently. Ashley Young and Rooney were pitiful tonight. Interesting that for all the hot air that's blown over Rooney, they missed Hernandez massively. Hernandez was a massive miss for them but Welbeck should have started. They were relying on Cleverley in midfiled at the beginning of the year, he got injured and since they've not been very good. They are week in midfield hence why Jones plays there instead of RB where he should be. Had they signed Sneijder they would have bossed all competitions but as it stands they have nothing in midfield. Utd fans have bemoaned Fergie for failing to address the midfield and some feel he's lost his way.

Alan Smith kept saying how much of a shame it would be not to have Man City in the knockout stages. Well it would have been a much bigger shame to see Napoli knocked out because Bayern played their 3rd team against Man City. Very glad Napoli got the win to ruin the day.
