AjcW Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 That Man City group is going to be fun! Also don't have much hope for Arsenal in that group!!
Jimothy Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 Madrid always get lyon It's worse that Leicester v Macclesfield! Seriously how may times have Real played Lyon? They must have meant at some point in each of the last 7 seasons!
BoneDog Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 I loved Szczesny's penalty save last night. 'Twas excellent.
MC Prussian Posted 25 August 2011 Author Posted 25 August 2011 Basel will foul out early. Manchester United and Benfica... don't think so.
Bugg Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 Unlucky Arsenal Arsenal group is tough, but I think them and Borussia will get out of the group.
StanSP Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 My top 2 for each group predictions, for what it's worth! StanSP Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 In short, the top two seeds in every group? Apart from Leverkusen and Lille, yep!
Jaspa Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 Think Man C will suprise a few people then. There team is now world class, no doubt. And there's still a possibilty of Carlos staying (Unless Real Madrid or Arsenal swoop)
shen Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 Think Man C will suprise a few people then. There team is now world class, no doubt. And there's still a possibilty of Carlos staying (Unless Real Madrid or Arsenal swoop) why would he leave Man City for Arsenal though?
Jaspa Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 why would he leave Man City for Arsenal though? Their gunna be the Liverpool of the next couple of years. They have the money, and he'd do pretty well there. Still think Real will end up with him tho
shen Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 Their gunna be the Liverpool of the next couple of years. They have the money, and he'd do pretty well there. Still think Real will end up with him tho He's already on humongous wages at City and he wants to leave. Why he'd then go Arsenal (it's still England, worse chances at winning trophies and likely lower wages) doesn't make any sense to me. Real however is a much more realistic option.
I am Rod Hull Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 He's already on humongous wages at City and he wants to leave. Arsenals wage structure means its a "no no" ... Spain is the only place for him, or maybe Anzhi Makhachkala ...

Ok then I just thought they'd want to bring in a high profile player for their losses, add the fact that their even more minted than they where and Tevez isn't to be beleived, I thought he'd never step foot in Manc again? But I was posting rumours on footie rumours about Tevez to Real under the allias 'PyB' because it looked pretty straight forward. I expect a story to unfold at Arsenal this year, then they will bring names in and progress.
accessory Posted 13 September 2011 Posted 13 September 2011 Decent away points for Arsenal and Milan tonight. Chelski wobbled a bit before seeing off Leverkusen.
Wymsey Posted 13 September 2011 Posted 13 September 2011 Torres didn't seem happy on a couple of occasions, but he made good assists.
StanSP Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Man Utd have won their last 3 games in Portugal in the CL 1-0. Think I know what I'm putting on for tonight!
Yojoe36 Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 Did anyone see the 5th official dancing, when Benfica scored
Jimothy Posted 14 September 2011 Posted 14 September 2011 What a goal Giggs. No surprise he scored, he's good at playing away from home.
