ScouseFox Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Ronaldo's goal for Real tonight was sensational. About 8 first time, one touch passes at speed from the half way line, across to the left, back to the right, first time finish from Ronaldo. Sublime.
MC Prussian Posted 28 September 2011 Author Posted 28 September 2011 In all honesty, didn't expect Basel to draw at Old Trafford. Great result, a win would've been quite a shocker. Glad for the visitors to come back from 2-0 against such a classy team that plays football from another planet at times (even without Rooney). Fabian Frei's cross to set up Alex Frei was top-notch. A few more points in the co-efficient race...

Jimothy Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 How Olympiakos didn't score then I'll never know! Great goal line clearance by Arteta! Chamberlain is looking a decent player, still not worth £15m though.
Salieri Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Valencia keeper having an absolute stormer so far.
somebum Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 I watched Barcelona destroy the Belarusians. A phenomenal performance.
Fox92 Posted 29 September 2011 Posted 29 September 2011 Messi becomes Barcelona's joint-second all time top goalscorer, at the age of 24 Sensational footballer.
HEGGSY Posted 29 September 2011 Posted 29 September 2011 Messi becomes Barcelona's joint-second all time top goalscorer, at the age of 24 Sensational footballer. This the lads amazing and will only get better. BATE look Sunday league but then again most teams look that against barca
Fox92 Posted 29 September 2011 Posted 29 September 2011 This the lads amazing and will only get better. BATE look Sunday league but then again most teams look that against barca I know he will. Its amazing to see his ability now and still remember he is only 24, he might have another 8/9/10 years left yet at the top. Hopefully so as well, because he is a great player. And yes, most teams look Sunday League to Barcelona
Libertine Posted 18 October 2011 Posted 18 October 2011 Aguero wins it for City with 5 seconds of added time left. Jammy as f-ck.
Corky Posted 18 October 2011 Posted 18 October 2011 Huge goal, pulls City two points closer to second place that it would've been.
Jaspa Posted 19 October 2011 Posted 19 October 2011 Just saw MC highlights and saw all the 'Missiles' being lobbed at the players & pitch. This was also an issue in the Merseyside Derby earlier this year. I'm really not happy about this, and fear there could be a major incident which provokes a overblown reaction, where we all end up watch matches behind nets and barriers. Hope these ****ing morons realise before they damage the experience for all fans in this country. Ps, I'm all for it if the player has spat at the crowd or something, but if their just being a competitive opponent its not needed
FoxyPV Posted 19 October 2011 Posted 19 October 2011 ****ing arsenal pull it out of the bag in the last minute
Webbo Posted 19 October 2011 Posted 19 October 2011 ****ing arsenal pull it out of the bag in the last minute yea!
MC Prussian Posted 23 November 2011 Author Posted 23 November 2011 Quality commentary from RAI's Riccardo Cucchi during Napoli's 2-1 win over Manchester City: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSa9oaQwxFs
Corky Posted 23 November 2011 Posted 23 November 2011 Chelsea not through yet, Man Utd can't afford to lose and the odds against Man City qualifying. Arsenal into the next round. You'd have thought they'd be the ones who'd need something on the last game out of those four.

Almost seems the worse a team is doing in the League the better they're doing in the Champions League and visa versa. Each teams CL campaigns are pretty much mirror images of they're League form.

Each teams CL campaigns are pretty much mirror images of they're League form. Precisely, it seems that the Premier League has become so competitive now it means the clubs are taking their eyes off the ball in the Champions League. I also doubt that AVB has much time left in the job considering Gus Hiddink is now available again.
marko Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 Both City and United going out currently. I honestly think United are on there way. It just doesn't look like it'll fall for them.
ScouseFox Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 City almost definitely out as Napoli take a 2-0 lead.
marko Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 2-0 Basel Cheerio SAF the Thursday night Channel 5 cup awaits!!!
