gazfox9 Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Tbf that was a beaut of a finish from taylor Fletcher.
FrankieADZ Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Hull's defence looks very weak at times, still its a classy goal to start the football league season with

Father Ted Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Big nige is such a shite manager!!! Hehe Yeah... thats why he won League 1 with us and led us to 5th in the championship with a squad that he built on a low budget...
blueredswed Posted 5 August 2011 Author Posted 5 August 2011 Just realised, this thread should be in this thread http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=75019&pid=1950528&st=40entry1950528 Sad for you but happy for mee! Good response!

Collymore Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Why is this not in general sport?
Cropwellfox Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Not that the first 90 mins of a season defines anything, but Hobbs and Fryatt hardly looked like integral parts of a promotion-winning team. Meanwhile, bloody tin-pot shite-hole Blackpool look like they could be more than useful again this year. How that can be true of any team with Brett Ormerod in it heaven only knows.

Don't know what game you were watching, both teams were awful with Hull probably shading it. Blackpool's defence got cut open time and again, just a shame Hull's strikers can't finish as they should have won it with the chances they created.

And therefore those teams is not gonna bee promotion clubs and not even top 6 trust mee!
kingfox Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 How Hull didn't get a point I don't know, Fryatt should of netted two the fat lump. Hobbs is a poor player aswell, never rated him at Leicester no nonsense defender but so much hoof ball it's unreal. Brady was fantastic, also from Blackpool Southern and Grandin especially did well second half. Could of been a better start, but have to be pleased with the opening goal of the football league, amazing strike from GTF.
He's not bald Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Watched the game because I was suffering sooo much from competative football withdrawl syndrome. Found it really amusing that Hull started like the home side then faded towards half time...had a token come back spell in the second half but then their star striker realised that the championship was a level too high for him and went awol and they eventually lost the game....sound familiar?
ajthefox Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Already dismissing teams on the first 90 minutes of the season? Shit me. I hate to imagine what will happen on here god forbid it all goes tits up at the ricoh tomorrow..
thybluefox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I though Blackpool played some tidy football in parts, could be a half decent team when they've got a few games under their belt.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Ruined my first accumulator of the season, had this as a draw. Great goal though
21st Century Fox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Can we get some sort of alert on the forum for when blueredswed posts, they're brilliant. "I can not seeing us loosing to those craps!" It's what we're all thinking but better.
Ziggy1990 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Jack Hobbs didnt have the best of games either. His decision making especially in the second half was awful.
reynard Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I think this is a really great result for Blackpool. First game following relegation and on paper a pretty tough trip to Hull who will do ok again this season they couldn't have asked for more. This will be a big confidence boost for them and I suspect they will be there or there about come the end of the season.
sdb Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Agreed, tough place to go and get a result. Expect both to be top 10 easily come May.
Corky Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Hull's home form was their downfall last year. They'll hope there isn't a repeat this season.
Fox92 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I don't think Hull will be up there at the end of the season, even though there are posters on here that think they will be. They didn't look very good to me, especially at home (again! like last season repeated for them how many matches at home did they loose 0-1 last season? ). I thought Blackpool were good though, and better than what I expected. They seemed to be first to every ball. Always liked Barry Ferguson and (super) Kevin Phillips who both looked intelligent throughout. Fryatt looked awful imo, particularly his shots. Still looked fairly weak to me as well. Don't get me wrong, I like him, and he'll score a fair amount of goals, but I generally prefer Nugent if you offered me them both.
