Mjlewis08 Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Think everyone should "move like Bernie" - would be unique and look mental!
glen parva fox Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 When we played man city at home they wanted us to do it, I'm all for it, hope l1 and k block are rocking for the reading game
stix Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 I didnt do it on saturday but did.video it and it looked ok to me. like someone else said, if you wanna do it then do it. if not then dont. Couple of lads directly behind me tried to start a "shoes off! If you love leicester!" chant holding one shoes up in the air, but it didnt take off. was still funny. Same guys that started the "Everybody danns now" chant. few too many ales me thinks but was all in good humour. Couldnt see anybody sitting down at all throughout the 97 or so minutes either yesterday. Good show from everyone.
Len Finsbury Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 I anything that's done at a football match original? It certainly looks better when more people do it but the majority of our fan base prefer to sit and be quiet. Man City probably have as many 'vocal' supporters as we do in total. We can't even sing 'when you're smiling' or EIEIEIO at the right speed FFS, what makes people think we'll be able to do this justice?

cc_star Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Think everyone should "move like Bernie" - would be unique and look mental! Yes!
fox ache Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Thats it, brilliant :crylaugh: weve got to get that 1 going, just to see all the away fans faces lmfao
RowlattsFox Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Had no idea what this "move like bernie" was. Assumed it was something to do with our Bernie apparently not.
Bert Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 I want to know other City fans opinions on this. For me, The Poznan is Manchester City's celebration. We've nicked it. It's not ours. With all the other similarities between us and them (Sven/ex Man City players/rich new owners/people saying we're buying the league etc.), isn't this just going a step too far? We're not Man City, we're Leicester and we should bloody well act like it. I know they nicked it from Polish fans, but at least it was new over here. I don't get it either - surely linking arms but facing forward would give them same effect to the rest of the stadium, but allow you to see what's going on? As much as I like a unique celebration, I'd really like us to pack this in and do something original. Nor is it Man City's. They didn't do it until Lech Poznan played them. Why can't you just be pleased that we've got a goal celebration that brings everyone together? Of course, it may not be everyones cup of tea. Personally I like it. It's fun, everyone can do it and it's not over-used.
glen parva fox Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Think I'll stick to the Poznan, else we will seriously get the piss taken out of us

Bert Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 On a side note Bert, at what particular stage will you have to change your signature? It's inevitable...no? Nice try....
Webbo Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Anyone who is embarrassed by the Poznan really needs to get out more. It's a bit of fun FFS, get over yourself.
fox ache Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Think I'll stick to the Poznan, else we will seriously get the piss taken out of us Do you think we would ???? Can see their faces now :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop:
sphericalfox Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Nice try.... Can't blame me. I know it won't happen until we've made the signature (or two) of a new striker. You can use the change of your signature as a sign. Don't worry nobody reads this thread, we'll keep it between us
themotivator Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 at least the original club are cited in the correct harvard format in the title of the celebration. we aint plagiarising this shit. if anything its a homage to the kind of support the show over in eastern europe. i reckon its ok till someone comes up with something better.
Guest Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 I've no idea why anybody does it. Since when did football fans show their support through synchonised dance? No problem with those who do it just think it's a fad which will be out of fashion as quickly as it found favour and all those who participated will have to find a way to live it down. Lets just manage to sing for the whole match (home) before worrying about the choreography!
Fosse Boy Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 If people stop calling it the fucking Poznan I'm all for.
deepbluedevil Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 its just about acceptable with man city, but copying a team that copied someone else? Maybe its time we started singing 'you'll never walk alone' or 'i'm forever blowing bubbles' as well.

So should we stop this as well?? We can say that we have nicked thats as well. If we really start looking at this like that by the end of the day we will only go to sit and watch the game in quiet. For me the poznan is OK !!! And If we manage to do it in half or mayby one day the whole ground than that will become a unique one
Corky Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 It's a bit of fun. Yes it's nicked but so what? Most of our songs are re-works of other clubs' songs. I don't see a problem with it. It's not hurting anybody, it won't get us into trouble. Our fans are criticised for not doing enough and when they do something they are still criticised.
Yojoe36 Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Away games yes. But at home, no way. Only L1 and K1 do it, and is crap. It was great at Cov, cause everyone did it. Good stuff DO IT AT FOREST!!!
samjohnson Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 The only thing I can think of that is Leicester's own is "When you're smiling", from the story I heard about it. "Youll never walk alone" would always be classed as the anthem of Liverpool, but Celtic half-iched that and reckon they started it off, like the "poznan" and all other things they happen to do.
