ramadaone Posted 3 September 2011 Posted 3 September 2011 Bradford fan here! Just registered to update you on Liam Moore. What a player this lad is going to be! Quick, strong, accomplished. His positional sense is the only slight downside at the moment but he's made up for that a couple of times with his pace. He seems to be improving game on game. He likes to get forward where possible and seems to have a real engine on him. Even though its Second Division football he belies his 18 years. We've played both Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday in Cup ties and he's coped admiringly. Any chance we can have him for the season please? Hopefully Sven realises a season playing regularly in League 2 will do him the world of good! Best of luck this Season, hope to see you in the Premier league next year! Some how Taft has been put in front of Moore but I'm sure in the long run Moore will turn out to be a much better player
stix Posted 3 September 2011 Posted 3 September 2011 Logan has just took an elbow from his own centre-back. Blood pissing out of his hooter!!
Tielemans63 Posted 3 September 2011 Posted 3 September 2011 Some how Taft has been put in front of Moore but I'm sure in the long run Moore will turn out to be a much better player Funnily enough I watched Taft play for Kettering this afternoon. He's playing in a frankly shite side at the moment but he's doing okay. Looks better suited to centre half than full back. He's very good in the air and reasonably quick but his distribution and positional play are going to have to improve hugely before he can be considered for the first team. Think he'll make a good league 1 / 2 player tbh. Hope I'm wrong!
Tielemans63 Posted 3 September 2011 Posted 3 September 2011 Also (forget to mention) Taft is a strange case as his biggest strength is also a major weakness. In the 3 games I've watched him in he's everything in the air but has tendency to not look where he's heading it. At least 50% of the time he gives the ball straight back to the opposition.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 3 September 2011 Posted 3 September 2011 Logan should of stopped Swindons 2nd, did you see di canio though? went mental for there 2nd
Narborough_fox Posted 4 September 2011 Posted 4 September 2011 Logan should of stopped Swindons 2nd, did you see di canio though? went mental for there 2nd Bit harsh. Scrambled across the goal and almost tipped it round the post with a broken nose and 3 broken teeth. He shouldn't of even been playing.
Toffee_Fox Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 Expect a few of the younger lot to be off on loan when the loan window opens. Smith is one.
Jimmy Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 needs to be a recall clause though as that leaves us short of keepers with no back up should 1 get injured
Toffee_Fox Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 You can emergency loan a keeper in that case...unlikely to happen, mind you.
Bantam1 Posted 11 September 2011 Posted 11 September 2011 Another Bradford fan here, Just a quick message to say how well Liam Moore is doing for us and cant believe the lad is only 18. Has played every minute of every game so far for us this season and continues to improve with every minute spent on the pitch. Hes confident and quality at getting forward just hope that we manage to hang onto him for the rest of the season he seems to be enjoying playing for us and genuinely wants us to do well unlike loan players we have had previous seasons who couldn't have give a toss, and im sure a season of first team football will do him wonders. Good luck for the rest of the season and hopefully you can start to pick up a few more points

Jimmy Posted 17 September 2011 Posted 17 September 2011 Tunchev played the whole game again but Palace lost 1-0, Waggy played the full 90 in their 1-0 win, Shane Byrne got 13 mins in Bury's 3-0 loss Alex Smith didn't play for Chesterfield, Cian Bolger's Bristol Rovers lost 1-0 & Liam Moore's Bradford lost 3-1 @ Crawley. George Taft's Kettering lost 0-2 to Tamworth

Cheers Bantam, nice to hear from you. I also feel you too are a massive club and can just remember you missing out when I first started watching footie in 1987/88 when you missed out on promo with Ormondroyd, Futcher, McCall and Hendrie. Looking forward to seeing/hearing more about Moore, and just hope that you guys come back to the top where you belong. Bigger club than Leeds anyway.
miagsygas Posted 23 September 2011 Posted 23 September 2011 Hi guys, we've just signed Oliver Norburn to go along side Cian Bolger. Any info on the guy? Could become your feeder side with Bolger, this guy and Logan last season but if he's as good as the previous two I'm a happy man.
ScouseFox Posted 23 September 2011 Posted 23 September 2011 Decent signing for you boys, pretty sure he's been one of our top academy performers for a while, and our academy's pretty good. I might go to Morecambe to watch the Gas again tomorrow, any chance he'll go straight into your starting line up? Hopefully it'll be better than Macclesfield.
miagsygas Posted 23 September 2011 Posted 23 September 2011 Doubt he'll go straight in, but our captain isn't 100% fit and he's a center midfielder. Buckle, our manager, was asked about it in on our official site and said: Manager Paul Buckle said: "We are delighted to bring Oli to the club for a month, he is from the same crop as Cian Bolger, and he is highly rated. "He is a technically good player, and very mobile, and he is someone who can receive the ball and get us passing, which is just what we need. "With the injury to Matt Gill and Stuart Campbell playing Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday we wanted to bring someone in to give us more options. "Oli is here to play, but he will have to force his way into the team. "When Cian Bolger first came here he knew he was third choice, but he has earned a starting place with his performances, and it is up to Oli to do the same." Bolger will definitely be starting, though. Norburn i'll imagine will get on. Bolger's been brilliant for us so far and is easily our best center back. Would love us to sign him perminantly.

Unlikely to happen, I would imagine we will send him on loan to a league one club next and see how he develops, but it is nice to hear he is doing well for you.

Hopefully, that League 1 club is us. We've had a poor start but I still think if we make a few changes we'll hit playoffs. As good a player he is, with the amount you guys can now spend on players and with the potential you have to be a Prem club, i can't see Bolger getting much of a look in in the long run, so you never know. Our chairman has spoke of a good relationship with Leicester, so might not be the last time we have your players heading down this way.
ScouseFox Posted 23 September 2011 Posted 23 September 2011 Bolger was top at Macc and Bradford, but he's not Premier League material, and probably won't ever be, and that's where we're aiming to be. Hope you go back up, my second club the Gas.
funkyrobot Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 We currently have two players loaned out to teams above us in the championship. Waghorn at hull and tunchev at palace. Absolutely crazy situation. The loan system shouldn't allow loans to clubs in the same division!

The loan system shouldn't allow loans to clubs in the same division! why not? if the management staff decide that the club being loaned to are not a big enough threat for the player to damage their aims then why shouldn't they be allowed to loan to that club?

Judging by hull's league position, their squad and the recent history of their management team, they are a threat
