acooling08 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Wow Arsenal are really terrible. I can't understand how Wenger has managed to transform him side to league winners a decade ago to what they are now. Keepers = not good enough, defenders = maybe 1 good enough midfield = 2 good enough, strikers = only Van Persie good enough. They remind me of us under Sven. Pass pass pass sideways backwards for ages with no creativity. Boring style of football played in their own half. It's about time Wenger left I think, he's taken the club to the top and then to the worst side they've ever been in my lifetime.
Corky Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 It's unbelieveable how bad they are now from what they were.

They just haven't been replaced should have spent better... It's been going on for a few years now. Arsenal used to be feared, they just aren't anymore.
Matt Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Their main loss was Fabragas, They knew he had itchy feet and wanted to move on for a good 2 or 3 years before he actually did so they should have replaced him before he went. Fabragas was the key loss, others soon wanted out the door when he went and wouldn't be surprised to see Van Persie go next. Van Persie goes and Arsenal become a mid-table Premiership team. I said at the start of the season I thought Wenger would be gone this season, I was going to bet on it but never got round to it, then when I last looked the odds weren't worth betting on (Not sure whether that has changed now - I doubt it). He surely hasn't got long left.

Whether he's a permanent crock remains to be seen, but they've sorely missed his presence this year.
Haydos Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Buying players like Chamakh, Squillaci, Fabianski, Benayoun, Mertesacker, Park Chu Young....What does he expect?
Phube Posted 19 February 2012 Author Posted 19 February 2012 I'm not sure it's fair to laugh at them any more... I mean it's not nice to mock the afflicted!
AyewJoking Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 I think he'll be asked to retire. The only thing that can save him this season will be a top 4 finish and that seems unlikely.
Matt Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Lord Sugar @Lord_Sugar Piersy as Wenger has not been spending on players. Arsenal now have a new covered roof project see pic bit.ly/zWbYf8 @piersmorgan
accessory Posted 26 February 2012 Posted 26 February 2012 Gooners at Anfield next week - a massive game for both sides.
