Phube's Arsenal Bashing Thread

Behave. They've played no team out the relegation zone yet.

Villa on the first day

And they've played WBA, Tottenham & Swansea.

2 of those are tipped to finish in the European spots in May.

I do get what you're saying in that they haven't had frequently tough tests, but they're winning games where in previous seasons they would have come unstuck. There's nothing wrong with playing loads of lowly teams and getting the points on the board.

Suppose Liverpool in their next league game will be their toughest test yet.

Arsenal are the most popular team in Leicester, I mean take this thread for example. I'd say most Leicester fans have arsenal as their 2nd team.

You're making me hate them. Are there a lot of bell ends?

Also you proved you're the better team by losing to them? Mediocre wumming. C- Must try harder

Spose Arsenal went out the cup almost on purpose to focus on the league?

Can't blame em' I guess best chance they've had for years....

Eh? They're not doing great with injuries and they've clearly not got the depth that Chelsea have. Bendtner and Jenkinson?

Not really sure how you're getting off on taking pot shots about a weakened Carling Cup clash. I really don't care either, this just makes you sound like a 13 year old though.

Give him a decent run and I believe he'll come good. Or maybe not. It amazes me every time when I see him play one absolute blinder after another for Denmark only to be shit the next game for Arsenal. Maybe they use him wrong?

He's probably not entirely happy there. What was he like playing for Juventus? I can't believe they took him on loan. From Bendtner in one season to Tevez the next lol.

He just needs to leave Arsenal and somehow resurrect his career.

I obviously can't speak for many of his performances but he usually looks very poor. His touches last night were terrible, even the simplest 10 yard passes went astray and he looked disinterested.

You'd think he'd come back with something to prove but he just looks done with Arsenal based on that performance.

You can't really expect him to perform great after just 120 minutes + some spare minutes towards ends of games plus he was injured during pre-season. Of course he had an absolute stormer against Italy http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x15u7f8_denmark-2-2-italy-all-goals-11-10-ourmatch-net_sport?start=50 , after even less playing time, so I can't really explain what's wrong. He fits the system perfectly in the national team, and yes he does have a few missed passes. But he's so dangerous and potent in front of goal. Few can match his physique. I don't blame the general public in England though when they say he's shit, because apart from a few important goals from many opportunities he hasn't done much.

He hardly played because he was out injured most of the time. When he was injury-free he hardly got a sniff as he was only a reserve.

Arsenal are top of the league ??? Why the fook would they care about a micky mouse cup. No offence but Leicester fans take cups like this seriously. Not teams who have got a great chance of of winning a league title.

Because Arsenal have failed to win silverware for the last 8 years. I'm sure their fans wouldn't mind winning "The Mickey Mouse Cup" I'm also sure most were disappointed losing to Brum in the final a couple of years back.

Haven't Leicester got a great chance of winning a league title?

They always put kids out, a weakened side and somewhat 'disrespect' the cup anyway, regardless of injuries and having no depth.

I'm not really sure why you're questioning me about 'getting off' on taking pot shots about a weakened Carling Cup clash and I'm glad you really don't care because the feeling is mutual.

Ahhh, gotcha, so that's why you/they/Arsenal let Birmingham win it a few years ago and let Bradford through last year.

How noble of them.

Hugo Sanchez has explained the situation above you silly sausage.

Although I'll let you off because I got this situation all wrong myself.

Arsenal beginning to look like serious contenders after the Liverpool game, best I've seen them play AND win against a big side for quite some time now.

Did they play someone after Liverpool already?!

Tottenham fans must hate this - Arsenal doing great but then nearly everyone is saying 'but they haven't played a big side yet'. lol they played Spurs earlier on in the season and that seems to have been forgotten!

Why are a Liverpool fan and an Arsenal fan arguing on a Leicester City forum?

Presumably they are the 'Lamby' of their own team forum.

Including Spurs fans apparently - one of whom said the very same before I reminded him of Olivier Giroud lol

For Arsenal, yes. He's been very decent at international level. You don't score consistently against good sides at international level without having some quality. Why he can't reproduce that for Arsenal, I really don't know.
