It'll be a quality signing if they can actually get the best out of him, the idea of him linking up with Mata is a fabulous prospect. But Marin is an incredibly lightweight player and a massively inconsistent one at that, there's a reason he's not made the step up to this sort of level earlier despite having remarkable quality on the ball.

He may take time to settle I feel but his technical abilities are undoubted. He reminds me of a good Barry Bannan.

West Brom dominated but just couldn't score thanks to some last ditch Villa defending. One of the most blatant handball's I've seen for a long time on the line from Hutton denied West Brom as well... cannot stand Clattenburg. There is still hope though that Villa will go down with Bolton picking up a point and Wigan smashing Newcastle.

And me, I got 5/1 on them being relegated today, good value I thought. Although they are 8/1 now. Still think they are in serious danger, could have done with Bolton winning today but a draw isn't the worst result for all wanting Villa relegated, especially with Bolton still with a game in hand - Just gotta hope Bolton win that game, anyone know who the game in hand is against?
